I had such a great great experience with this team! Eric is very professional and was able to help me out when I ended up in an odd housing situation. I had a rental house and moved in and the lawn was soooo high. The previous renter had mowed it roughly a month before I got there. This was a huge project for me and I work 50hr weeks. They came in, got everything mowed down perfectly, edged everything, unearthed the small gardens, and left it perfectly cleaned up. They even put my cans out for the trash to get picked up!The owner of the house gave me roughly two weeks notice saying she was taking her house back and moving back to San Diego so I had to move out, (we had lived there 5 weeks....). Being that I had JUST started the monthly service, Eric worked with me to give me a great price for the few services I actually got for the house. These guys did a fantastic job on our front yard. We love the landscaping so much. I showed them a picture of what we wanted and they replicated it very nicely! I highly recommend Jg Lawns, Eric and his crew were very professional and did a great job.  They transformed my gopher infested front yard into a beautiful maintenance free turf that looks just like real grass only better no watering and no gophers.  Eric was very friendly and responsive.  He even gave us a nice discount if we were ready to have the work done right away, which we were.  I even asked him to remove some plants and add the gopher barrier and rock in a planter box and he did it at no additional costs.  They were very fast with the work and had my whole yard done in two days.  I am very happy with the work and do not have to worry about the gophers, watering the lawn as well as trimming and mowing it.  That is a huge plus for me.  The grass feels nice and soft even on my bare feet.  Now I just need to convince my wife to let me redo the back yard.If you are looking for a landscaper you can trust and one that won't over charge you.  Call Eric at JG Lawns. Great service and quality work. Response time was fast, and they fixed all the issues I had with my sprinkler system. Early to the estimate appointment and right on time for the repair. After redoing several things in and around our house, I was pretty pissed off about the quality of work. The corner cutting, penny saving strategies were the worst. Jg lawns restored my faith in contractors. They were worth every single penny I spent. Went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. We have used this landscape company twice and both times been very pleased with their work.  The first time was over a year ago to do a winter trim and clean up of all our plants.  They trimmed and shaped everything so it grew in beautifully for spring.  The second time was just a month ago when again our plants needed a trim but also when we needed 5 large size plants and fruit trees replaced.  Our soil is extremely rocky and it required extensive digging which they did beyond our expectations.  We highly recommend Eric and crew!  They do excellent work at a fair price. I was in dire need of immediate clean up (massive debris, leaves, and weed) removal from property. I found this company just by chance and I'm so happy that I did. I sent a message and was responded to very promptly.  An appointment was made for a quote. Eric came out to assess my property and was so helpful and insightful on my wishes. He told me he would try and get next day service and he definitely held to his promise.  He and his team showed up the next day on time and worked my disrespectful property back into shape. The crew came out on a Saturday and did the job to perfection!  I have a huge canyon about 8000 sq ft that I was overwhelmed with that needed some extreme cleaning. I interviewed 5 lawn services for my  very large lawn.  JG Lawn not only gave me the best quote but they were flexible and fast.  The owner described the entire process from start to finish and gave me advice about how to protect my grass from gophers.  He was also very understanding about my financial limits and didn't try to oversell me something more expensive than I wanted or needed.  The lawn came out beautifully.  From start to finish it was about a week long process.  I am extraordinarily pleased and would use their services again.  By the way, the kids have played and enjoyed this lawn far more than the real turf that was there before. We contacted JG Lawns based on their excellent Yelp reviews. We needed yard cleanup for our front and back yard. Back yard has a pretty steep slope. Eric responded to our inquiry within a few hours and was able to come for a quote the next day. The crew did a great job cleaning up our birds of paradise and palms in the front yard. A truly amazing company. Our experience with JG Lawns started off great with prompt answers to our request for a quote as well as emails and questions. The consultation was done quickly and their schedule was flexible to accommodate us. We had a few companies come out and JG Lawns was the only one who didn't up charge us just because we have a small project, and it came out fantastic. They had to use the house as access due to us not having any yard doors, and we can't tell they came through the house at all! They are an extremely clean crew and picked up after themselves with extreme attention to detail. The pricing was great, and Eric graciously offered us a military discount. JG Lawns is awesome! Eric and the crew are wonderful! Eric always got back to me in a timely manner, he was easy to work with and his prices are reasonable. The crew is super friendly, work really hard even on super hot days, showed up early and worked all day, they were very helpful and easy to work with. We did a backyard makeover, new concrete patio, paver patio, concrete curbing around entire yard, all new irrigation and sprinkler system and beautiful new sod.  Our yard used to be all weeds, dirt, non functioning and broken sprinklers and an old ugly patio and they transformed it into a lush green beautiful yard! Eric's crew did a fantastic job in our jungle of a yard. I called on a Tuesday and he came out for a quote that Friday. They had competitive pricing so we scheduled our one time yard clean up for the next week. They arrived early in the morning ready to work. After a quick review with Eric on the specifics on the job, his crew of 2 guys went right to work. The guys were quick in pulling weeds and trimming back overgrown plants. I wanted to hang on to the little greenery I had left on our slope and they were able to pull all the dead underbrush. Eric was available by phone in case of any issues. At the end of the day we had a blank slate ready to be revamped. JG Lawns offers a variety of services from sprinkler repair to hardscape. Picking up my morning newspaper from the driveway I noted a sprinkler head which was gushing water down to the street.  Once water was off I checked the sprinkler head to see if it could be repaired.  I discovered that the sprinkler head wasn't the problem.  The PVC valve was broken which connected the head to the line.  At this point I knew it was time to get professional help.  I called a couple of sprinkler companies who said they wouldn't be able to schedule me until at least two weeks out.  My front yard would die in a few weeks and I didn't want to appear as the bad neighbor on the street.  Then Yelp comes to the rescue!  I saw positive reviews of JG Lawns and gave them a call.  Eric answered my call, listened to my description and then requested me to text him a photo of the head and broken valve.  I sent the text and Eric phoned me back within minutes.  Eric quoted a very reasonable repair price and said he could be there Saturday morning (which was only a day and a half away).  I said ""Super!".  Eric and his assistant arrived exactly as scheduled Saturday morning.  They immediately set to work digging to clear the area, install a new valve, clean sprinkler head of debris, install sprinkler head, test operation and adjust water spray zone.  Before departing Eric walked my property to check all sprinklers.  He placed small flags next to heads which required clearing (cut back grass) or cleaning.I was very happy with Eric's top notch customer service.  JG Lawns and Eric should be Yelpers first choice for sprinkler installation and repair! It's now been a year since our original work was completed. Someone had to come out on several occasions to adjust the sprinklers and make other, slight modifications. Just last week I asked for a brief visit to remind me how to use the irrigation timers. He came by and helped. Then he noticed one spot of sod not getting enough water. He quickly replaced a sprinkler head, tested the system, and was on his way. Never an extra charge. All 'warranty' visits were done promptly, with a smile, and at no charge. My yard was a mess. I felt like just throwing a match on the whole thing and be done with it but decided to give J. G. Lawns a try. I sent an email with attached photos through Yelp for a quote and Eric answered back with in the hour. We discussed a price and he came over the next day to take a double look. After reading all the good reviews about JG Lawns we set up an appointment.  We met with Eric the next day.  It being the busy season we had to wait about 5 days to get on his schedule.  It was well worth the wait.  His guys were polite and eager to get to work.  They cleaned out our mulch beds, laid down fresh mulch that I had ordered from Home Depot, mowed the weeds that took over our ground cover, and hauled away an old grill and table that have been sitting in our back yard forever.  My wife couldn't be happier with the look of our clean yard and I'm just glad its all done.  We are having Eric come back out to update our irrigation system next week.
