If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Like many other reviews discussing their lack of flexibility and unethical practices with charging clients when needing to reschedule an appointment, I called 19 hours ahead of my appointment to explain that my dog has an injured paw.
When I asked to reschedule, they told me they would keep my deposit and I needed to read the website. I explained that as a long time customer, I’m aware of their policy and called with as much advance notice as I could and would appreciate some flexibility since my dog was injured. Instead, they kept repeating that I should have read the website.
They then went as far to look up my phone number in their system and text a recorded video of me loosing my patience after being told for the umpteenth time I need to read their website. They of course didn’t manage to film their unprofessionalism.
Do yourself a favor and find a groomer that appreciates their customers (and isn’t psycho recording people) their grooms aren’t that great anyways.

Yes we recorded you verbally abusing the bather, calling her a female dog (profanity used) over the phone because you cancelled outside of the cancellation policy. We do not have to accept this type of behavior. We sent the recording to the same phone number YOU called us on. So we didn’t look it up in the system. Of course, as a loyal client, you would now say our grooms aren’t good because you are no longer welcome at our establishment as we told you during your outburst. We‘ll inform our grooming friends to beware.

I am typically very pleased with the service here as far as my dog’s grooming goes. Things that are less than desirable are the booking website and process. Very disorganized and needs to be updated. Secondly, I have been going here for over a year since I moved to Atlanta and I had an emergency meeting for work pop up at the last minute. I informed the staff and they told me I would have to forfeit my $30+ deposit. This is very disappointing because it’s never happened before. I always am there on time for my appointments. Customer loyalty is clearly not important to this business and they operate as if they are a legit hair salon. It should not be this difficult. THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. I have been going here for over a year and booked an appointment with them and didn't realize my dog's vaccines had expired. They called me the morning of my appointment telling me that they have to cancel the appointment since the vaccines are expired but that they are still going to charge me for the grooming service. I politely asked to make an exception and not charge me and she went ahead and finished the call by telling me that she just charged my card. If I could separate the grooming from the customer service - I most certainly WOULD! However, customer service negates the actual experience.
The cut and trim of my fur baby was nothing short of awesome! My Maltipoo looked like a shiny new penny when all was said and done.
When I made the appointment, I wasn't completely aware of the salon being along the Inman Park area. No biggie. But when I arrive, it's clear that parking is going to be an issue that's close to the curb ending on the street, and gets me away from the ongoing traffic, since I'm in a wheelchair.
No such luck with finding a spot that doesn't put me in the middle of traffic.
So I call inside ...
Me: Hi, my dog has an appointment today and I need to drop him off but with me being in a wheelchair, there's nowhere for me to park that doesn't put me in the heart of traffic. Is there someone who can either help me? Or come out to get my dog?
Her: Due to Covid, I'm not allowed to come out to your vehicle.
Me: What? Why not? People provide curbside service every day. I just need to drop him off.
Her: We're not allowed to pick up pets from cars. You have to hand them over.
Me: So you want me to get out of my car in the line of traffic since there's no handicapped parking around, push myself onto the curb JUST to hand him over to you?
Her: I can block traffic so that you can get out safely. But I have to stay 6ft away from the customer.
Me: Are you the owner? Cuz at this point, I don't even feel comfortable spending my money with your establishment since no one wants to make accommodations. And I'm not paying any penalties for not keeping the appointment.
Her: No I'm just a tech. Let me tell the owner.
(Two minutes later). The owner says if you cancel, you'll still be charged the 40% penalty.
Me: ((( completely heartbroken yet highly upset - I try asking people on the street if they'd help by pushing me to the curb. Not a single soul helps. So I start to get out of the car, but my pooch gets really excited and tries to run to the girl. Now I'm still trying to hold onto him while getting out WHILE watching traffic, but it's turning into a fail. I start crying.
Her: Here, I got him. (Starts to walk to the front door of the salon).
Me: What do you mean you got him? Don't I need to come in?
Her: No one is allowed inside. But I'll take him inside. Even though I could get into big trouble for doing this.
Now as I sit in the car and wait, I get a text message from the salon advising on when my Goldie would be ready (see below) and I witness a whole bunch of pickups and drop-offs (see video below) in front, where there would've been more social distancing between my car and the employee.
Oh and let's not forget about Jazzy Pawz updated COVID information HERE on YELP states that they provide curbside pickup (see below), but when asked, I was told curbside means in front of the salon's door. That's not curbside, that's pickup!
As a black woman myself, who also owns a small business, I try my best to patronize other black businesses, because there's nothing like supporting your own. But after the treatment I received today - with only asking for a small amount of assistance - it left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt like my money mattered more than the overall experience.
It sucks that even though Andrea did a great job with my baby - I won't return due to the lack of compassion and understanding.

This was our first experience taking our dog to Jazzy Paws and it was unfortunately very poor.
Someone contacted me the day of my appointment and asked what services we wanted.
I explained we signed up for the "Tranquility and Trim" - which includes trimming our dogs' face and sanitary area (the around his groin). He has issues with paraphimosis, which I was very clear about, so I requested they focus on cutting low.
They requested we come in ASAP rather than our appointment time, which was an inconvenience for us, but we complied. The difference was 2 hours.
Once he was returned, he had a wash and blow dry with extremely minimal trimming on his face and sanitary area. This cost $55 +tip.
We called to let them know we did not receive thorough service, they said we could bring him back and they could cut him down more.
However, as we inspected him, we found several knicks like the one on his chin and did not take him back.
We've never had negative issues like these with other groomers, but we wanted to try Jazzy Paws because it was so well reviewed.
We will not be returning. They did not offer a refund. They did not inform us of any accidents while grooming.

For a while now every time I see a great looking doodle and ask who the groomer is they say Jazzy Paws. Today I took Lucy in and she looks great, but what I like the most is the professional service. All their policies are detailed on the web site when you make the appointment. I love that I make an appointment online for a specific time and she is ready at a set time. I dropped her off at 10, Ebony checked us in, listed all me request and told me she would be ready in 2 hours and they would text 20 minutes before she was ready. Jazzy Pawz By Andrea is such a great pet grooming spa. Their customer service is amazing and they do such a great job in grooming services. I actually came a day earlier than I should have and they accepted me on the spot (such a nice courtesy). I also loved how educational they were when it came to my puppies grooming. When I came back, he seemed happy and didn't want to leave (which is a great sign). I'm in marketing and branding so the little touch of adding a personalized collar with her logo on it is a priceless experience. Andrea and her team always exceeds our expectations. We have been taking our beloved dog Jackson to Jazzy Pawz since they opened the business years ago. Our dog has fallen right in love with all the staff, which if you knew Jack Jack, that’s says ALOT! If we mention we are going to Jazzy Pawz, Jack Jack gets so excited that he jumps right in the car and can’t wait for us to get there. He totally loves getting his super cool bandannas after each and every Bliss and Bath! We, on the other hand, love the friendly staff and caring environment for our lil fur baby. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! - I recently rescued an 80lb Golden Retriever and this would be his first grooming appointment as my fur baby. I had the great fortune to chat with Andrea as I was checking in. She is lovely and you can tell that she knows dogs. Her team is so great, too! Professional and super friendly.Goldens are easy to groom, but my baby needs a slow intro with other dogs, so I was a little nervous about the cage-free concept. They totally have it down to a science! Due to their scheduling rules, they don't have more than 2-3 dogs on site at a time. I like that. Sometimes groomers can feel like a boarding site... cranking them out and in holding cells. Jazzy Pawz doesn't have that feeling AT ALL!When it was all said and done, my 80 lb baby looked so handsome and they did EXACTLY what I asked. My only specific requests were regarding his back end trimming, keeping the dew-claws short, and trimming around his ears and face. They are super easy to schedule with, since everything is online. This is the best grooming place I've found in Atlanta! The customer services was great. Easy drop off and pick up. I trust Andrea and the staff here with Dante. Andrea did a great job with Dante's hair cut (usually places would cut it too short and it takes a few weeks for him to actually look good). They dont keep the dogs all day waiting to get groomed. I dropped my dog off at 9am and was picking him up by 10:30! They post great pictures of the dogs on instagram (even before and after). It definitely feels like a spa experience for my dog. Brought my little Teddy here from a recommendation by our dog friend, Hank. We are more than pleased with the job they did:1. It’s cage free! Only caveat is you have to pick your dog up within a certain amount of time once they’re complete-I don’t like leaving my pup pup somewhere all day anyway-so that works!2. My dog is a mini goldendoodle and I’m not sure how they cut the hair around his eyes, but they did the best job I’ve ever seen! And we have been to lots of groomers. 3. They can scissor trim/cut the hair!4. Nail grinding is part of the package instead of an “extra” 5. Teeth brushing, blueberry facial, gland expressing, etc is all part of the package, too!6. My dogs fur is cream/white and I have had multiple people comment on how bright/white his fur looks!This is the first time we have ever left a review for a groomer and if you have a doodle/poodle(and prob any other type of dog), this is a great place to take your pups! Jazzy Pawz is the BEST! I have a golden retriever who always comes home looking FRESH after a day at the doggy spa! She comes home with just the right trim- short enough fur that she can tolerate this GA heat but shaped well enough that the feathering Golden’s are known for still sticks out! Andrea and all of her staff genuinely care for and treat your fur babies like they are their own! As an owner of a local veterinary practice, I really appreciate Andrea’s approach! With appointment based grooming, your pup gets in and out without picking up any germs from other animals. Today was my husband and I first visit with my Shitzu. Just moving to the Atlanta area we had no clue where to go, we stopped off at a few places and just didn't feel ok with leaving our dog, its not unusual to be nervous and we are super picky with where we leave him especially with him being a rescue dog, he spent most of his 3 years caged. My husband and I walked in and loved the decor and the feel of the place. I must say I was extremely impressed, the staff was courteous, very professional went over their rules which I thought was fair. When I picked up my lil man he looked great and he actually was playing with the other dog, he looked so happy! My puppy loves this place! I have been told my mom's dog cries when he has to go to his groomer (not in Atlanta), so I was worried getting a dog that needs monthly grooming. But, Theo walks right in and is happy to be there! From the happy dogs posted on their Instagram account, it looks like most other pups are happy there too! They are also super organized, and efficient - he is always ready when they say he will be! The location itself is clean and welcoming. Parking is tricky because it's in Inman Park, but there's plenty to do around there if you want to stay in the area while you wait once you have parked!
