Highly recommend Jayce and Atticus for any kind of dog training. They went above and beyond for our german shephard/ husky, Oso. We were at the point where we could not leave him home alone without him trying to escape or leave something damaged. Now, we can leave him home with a peace a mind that he will be at our house without leaving any damage. We also were not able to have him off leash due to the likely chance he would not listen and come back. He now has excellent recall and does amazing off leash. Thank you so much for all your help! What do you love most about your job?
One of the things I enjoy most about being a professional dog trainer is seeing the true difference in how owners are able to enjoy their dogs after training. From not being able to enjoy walks in their neighborhood, to running and playing off leash safely, or from barking at every passing dog to being able to be around other animals calmly. Getting to see the before and afters we create for people is extremely rewarding!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started training dogs after growing up in animal welfare, and getting my own dog. My family’s dog growing up struggled a lot with insecurity and fear, and I didn’t know how to handle it at the time. My own first dog was much more confident, but we ran in to a different series of issues, like marking, pulling on the leash, disinterest in listening to training, and poor recall off leash. I began a mentorship with a trainer I knew for my own dogs benefit, and overtime that expanded in to mentorships and consults with other trainers, and then friends and family asking me to train their dogs, and then their friends and family asking the same, and over the course of a few years my own business training. I am grateful for my first dog and the trainers along the way who taught me what I know today.
