Jake is phenomenal at what he does. I did weekly personal training sessions with him at Dirty Water Fitness. With his expert guidance, I not only built strength but also gained an understanding of proper technique and the science behind it all. Jake is the first personal trainer I’ve had where everything is really clicking. He pushes me and holds me accountable and makes sure I’m always getting the most out of my performance. If I think I can only do a certain amount of weight or a certain amount of reps, he always makes sure I’m truly making out on my capability and effort. I’ve been working with Jake for a few months now. He stretches me immediately after my strength training. I am 60y/o and have never been stretched professionally before. I started doing training with Jacob in January of this year (2023) because I needed to make a change, get fit and become more disciplined. He crafted a customized workout plan for my lifestyle with realistic goals. The workouts are thorough and well-rounded. I stretched w/ Jake weekly for about a month and a half as well as doing stretches he gave me to do on my own and had fantastic results! I felt a huge difference in my flexibility and mobility, and it helped w/ relief of persistent pain in my hip and shoulder. Personal Trainers

As a former marathon runner and triathlete, endurance sport is still part of my daily life with some ups and downs due a demanding job. Currently, I’m as well focusing on fun activities like surfing, mountain biking and hiking.

I originally went to Jake to keep my strength level in between surf vacations. However, I could gain so many more successes through the regular sessions.
I was surprised to shave of one minute per kilometer on my slow runs and even a bit more on my faster runs.
After mountain bike tours I do not have sore muscles anymore.
In surf vacations, I jump right on the board and have a better endurance than before I went to Jake, skipping the cycle of building up strength on the expense of valuable time in the water.

Even though I know exactly the importance of strength training for my beloved sport activities and daily life, I just cannot stand doing it.
Jake has a calm, stable personality and is extremely knowledgable. He brings in the patience, that I’m lacking of, whenever trying to do these trainings on my own.
He did an extraordinary job, making my hated strength training feel easy and fun, and he also did not mind working his sessions into my busy and hectic schedule. I highly recommend him.

I have been working with Jake 2x per week since May 2020. He keeps me on a workout plan that is focused on the objectives that I set with him, but he adds new exercises or variations to keep me challenged and keep the workout interesting. I’ve made steady progress so far thanks to his holding me to task and challenging me to keep beating my personal best results.
I look forward to making continued progress working with Jake man’s know that it will be much faster than it would ever be if I were working out on my own.

Jake has really gotten me on track with weightlifting by helping me create and stick to a schedule. I wasn't normally very much into exercising and at best was very intermittent, but decided to make a serious attempt at sticking to a plan. Just from our initial meeting, Jake was very knowledgeable and made sure to create a fitness program that suited me after talking with him about my fitness goals, and made adjustments throughout the program as those goals changed. Thanks to him I'm seeing massive progress and it has given me the motivation to continue working out even outside the training sessions. 10/10 would definitely recommend! More...

Right off the bat I could tell Jake is passionate about knowing his stuff when it comes to strength training and overall body health, and he puts in the work to know his stuff. As someone who’s problem has always been form and balance (although I’m stubborn about it), Jake has been able to correct many of my flaws in just the first few sessions. Personal Trainers

Jake made the difference for me to achieve my fitness goals. I came in Day 1 without a lot of experience in the weight room and with a joint injury that had been bugging me for a few years. He helped me build confidence in weight training and put together a 6 week program. The 6 weeks flew by and I saw a massive difference in my fitness and my joint issues disappeared. I'm now working on a second 6 week program and loving every session.

10/10 would recommend Jake for anyone who is serious about trying to achieve their fitness goals or wants to build confidence around the weight room. Also, his music selection is 🔥🔥🔥

1-on-1 parter assisted stretching is a fantastic service for anyone, from the average person to an elite athlete, to recover from their workout, relax, and provide routine maintenance to their body.

How does it work?
We start by discussing your injury history and any areas of tightness or restriction that you experience. Then, we go through a series of partner assisted stretches on a massage table with the goal of providing relaxation and increased range of motion to your muscles.
