My name is Elena Petsas, and I am the founder of Inner Sanctuary Therapy. Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. I have the tools and professional experience to help you get back on track.

I have been professionally assisting people with their mental health for over a decade, first as a school counselor, now as a Clinical Professional Counselor. I earned my B.S. in Education in 2006, and my M.S. in Counseling in 2009. I have worked with both adults and children to assist them in working through difficult life situations through research-based, client-centered approaches.

I know that sometimes life presents challenges that can be difficult to manage, but with the use of different therapeutic approaches, and the knowledge of human relationships and behavior, I can offer the professional support you need. We can overcome these obstacles together! I have experience in assisting families who are going through divorce or separation, parents having difficulty with their teens, and couples who are struggling with communication.

My goal is to help my clients to identify any direct and indirect causes of these difficulties, and work with them utilizing specific counseling techniques. Together, we can make you stronger, heal your past wounds and able to take on whatever life brings in the future!
