What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The first thing about taking a great photograph is the understanding of what photography really is. Photography is the capture of light. Having an understanding of how a camera works with either natural or electronically created light is the key. Having the knowledge of light placement is also very important.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It depends on the project, whether if it's a wedding or a portrait session. For a portrait session I would ask how many people, what type of atmosphere or mood you would like. For a wedding I would ask how many different locations, how they would like to receive their final product, how many hours they feel they would need my services for.
What do you love most about your job?
I love it when I deliver the final product and my clients just love their images that we created together. It's that feeling of being appreciated and that I walk away knowing that they have something that they will enjoy forever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for photography has been life long. Though I didn't start my business until later in life it was something that I always wanted to do. I have been employed in manufacturing for many years and with everything going overseas, I knew it was time to take control of my own life instead of someone else making bad choices for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because we will have fun. I will create pictures that they will love. I will do it for a reasonable price.
