Some businesses ruin the vibe immediately when you walk into the place and the people are cold and unapproachable...definitely NOT the case here! I walked into HBB for the first time today and was greeted by the most helpful and friendly people who showed me all my keto options. They also let me sample cinnamon cheesecake, which was absolutely heavenly! I got to talking with them about my success with weight loss on keto (90 lbs thus far since January) and all the benefits and they rang the bell for me, which I thought was so awesome and cool to acknowledge that in such an encouraging way. I purchased a slice of creamsicle cheesecake, peanut butter cookies, and a carrot cake muffin. The cheesecake and cookies were delicious but that muffin was OFF THE HOOK! I enjoyed that for breakfast this morning with my coffee. The great part is being keto friendly, it didn't spike my BS and was very satisfying. Awesome job ladies! I love love love this place. I had gestational diabetes and stubbornly insisted on controlling by diet. I was having a serious craving for carrot cake (normally not something I could eat) and my neighbor brought me to healthy body bakery. Angela very kindly explained the cake was low glycemic but I had some doubt. I ordered it to go and my type 1 diabetic mother and I had some cake (without her insulin) about an hour before bed. I was pleasantly shocked when not only was it delicious but there wasn’t a blood sugar spike between us, not even the next morning. I stopped in after recommendations from friends and I can’t wait to go back. I bought Keto cookies, chicken salad , and a keto take away meal. Everything was yummy!
