After reading all of Roberta's stellar reviews from Yelp, I made an appointment for my mom who has been suffering from back pain for years. This was my mom's first treatment from an acupuncturist so she was a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect. After my first conversation with Roberta I knew my mom would be in excellent care. Roberta is simply amazing! She is so very kind and intuitive and just being in her presence is healing. She gives a wonderful spa treatment with her acupuncture sessions. Her space is warm and inviting and the energy is really great. She has really helped me with seasonal allergies and with my plantar fasciitis. Roberta is the best! This was my first time being exposed to acupuncture and let me say it far exceeded my expectations. Best. Acupuncture. Ever. I originally started acupuncture as my last ditch effort to conceive, before my last option of pumping my body full of fertility drugs (per my Doctors request). I stumbled across Roberta at The Healing Essence Acupuncture, and my life completely changed. First off, the office was so welcoming and comforting. She spent a good amount of time discussing my health history and current concerns, never once feeling rushed. Roberta has a gentle spirit and an over abundance of willingness to help others. She truly cares for each of her clients and I could see this on my first visit. Her treatments are unlike any other places I've been to. She provides either warm towels or a soft blanket. She uses a heat lamp to make sure your feet at warm. She provides an eye cover pillow to ensure that no additional light will prevent you from relaxing. She uses oils and scents to add to the relaxation factor. Aside from being completely comfortable, her treatment plan is also exceptional. I went to her in hopes of conceiving and came away with much much more. Not only did I have 2 healthy babies, but Roberta treated me before, during and after each pregnancy. I was able to have amazing pregnancies, healthy and alert babies and the mental clarity through it all. I highly recommend Roberta. One visit, and you will be hooked. About 6 years ago, I was having hormonal issues and had tried everything except Eastern medicine. I googled acupuncture for womens health and stumbled upon Roberta. I was in luck that day. I immediately booked with her and have worked with her ever since. I normally will change up who I see for hair, nails and things like that but I never wanted to see another acupuncturist. Not only did she help me with my main issues, I also noticed a ton of other health benefits.. plus she was like my therapist. She has a heart of gold and truly cares about the reasons you are there. Roberta changed my daughter's life! At age 8 my daughter suddenly came down with debilitating environmental allergies. We stopped all sports, started medications and she was home from school sick 2-3 weeks per year with allergies. Â But, we tried acupuncture for her at age 10, and it was like a miracle! Â A few days after beginning treatment my daughter started seeing improvement. Then, within a few weeks she was symptom free. Â No drugs, no injections, no rashes, no asthma attacks, no urgent care visits, no late night attacks. Â All gone. Â My daughter is now 12 and leads a completely normal life. Â She has a small flare up in springtime, but we just go see Roberta and she is back on track. Â Plus, now that she isn't mired in sniffles and sneezes constantly, her grades have gone up, her energy level is up and she has multiple sports and after school activities. I know the other reviews already say many wonderful things about Roberta,it's all true!!! I was in a car accident which damaged my back& while having tests ran was diagnosed w MS. I'd have to say she is the best thing that's happened to me since the accident!! I can't explain the feeling? It's as if we'd known each other forever& she not only knows what I'm going through but is empathetic to know what I'm feeling! I honestly can't say enough good things about her! I was a patient of Roberta's, I was eery about the whole acupuncture thing but Roberta was such a great and caring person and answered all my questions that I had with great detail and understanding. I suffer from chronic back pain and have done everything and this was my last stitch effort, I got incredible results that I never got with modern medicine. The whole experience was great, she truly cares about her patients and takes the extra time to get to know you as she helps you through your healing process.
