Nathalie treated our dog Bear with love and respect, and she showed us how to continue on with training once Bear was back in our house. From the moment my little mixed pup Coco met Nathalie (owner of Happy Paws); she was happy paws herself!
I was referred to Nathalie through my dog groomer, who heard she walked multiple clients' dogs.
I contacted Nathalie over the phone and texted, and she quickly replied, which was consistent throughout working with her.
We scheduled a complimentary meet and greet with her and my dog Coco. Upon meeting, before I could even reach out to introduce myself, Coco happily ran up to Nathalie to say hi and get a belly rub. This means a lot as Coco usually (with her 23lb toughness) tries to rush and bark wildly at strangers. But with Nathalie, she was happy and playful from the beginning.
Nathalie has a kind nature and a clear connection to dogs. I would definitely recommend her as a dog walker! She was consistent, professional, and had very reasonable prices for individual dog walks. She even recommended another dog walker when she couldn't make it.

I have used Happy Paws for well over 6+ years. I can't say enough about how caring, loving, trustworthy, conscientious, accommodating, and responsible she is with all of her "clients".
She had a special connection with each and every dog (and esp. mine), which goes way over and above just your every day dog walker. I always felt very secure and confident that when my dog was with her for the day (we did "extended hours" and social time 3-4x a week) which was very important to me. I have my own business so I was able to relax either working from home or running around all day which was a huge weight off of my shoulders.
My terrier mix is very feisty and spoiled ;) - Nathalie knew just how to handle her in groups of big dogs as well as other feisty little guys. In all of those years, we NEVER had one incident. I'm a designer by trade, so a very picky client on many different levels - I would not just hand my baby over to anyone... I can assure you, you are in VERY good hands.
All that said, we are actually still grieving over her move to lovely Tennessee (from LA).... We seriously miss her everyday (and still keep in touch!). Before she left LA, she even found us a great replacement, trained her and made sure we had a smooth transition so that the same group of dogs weren't separated and could still hang out together (who does that these days?!).. Nathalie will forever be our dog "nanny" and extended member of our family. It is with great pleasure we give her a 10 - PAW review!
