We found Hannah Houtari Photography on Facebook and loved the photos shared. We reached out to her because we were not able to attend one of the mini sessions that she advertised. She was very quick to respond and offered me a private session that worked even better for us. She was great about letting us know what time would work best for lighting, gave us tips on what colors to choose and even how to tuck in my shirt!! When we met Hannah was very sweet and easy to work with. My husband and I were struggling because it was a very humid day and we were wearing fall outfits. But she was very calm, efficient and helped us through the photo shoot seamlessly. Our boys loved her too. The photos came back quick and we loved all of them! So challenging picking the best ones because they were all so great! We highly recommend Hannah and we can’t wait to do another lake shoot in then near future! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Trust in your photographer! I work hard to ensure my clients feel confident going into their session with me by having open and frequent communication, sending complimentary client guides, and answering questions quickly. When working with children, my philiosophy is to work with the child that shows up. If they want to walk, I walk with them, if they're fussy, we'll reajust so the parent's can calm them. I don't rush through this process.
What do you love most about your job?
I love serving families and knowing that I am capturing special moments and memories for parents when we know that life flies by too fast.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography has been my passion since I was 14 and after pursuing another career for too many years, I knew it was time to adjust and return to my calling.
