I am a former client of Hair Loft when they were Uptown. I was always very pleased with the service & expertise, and was so sad when they moved to the warehouse district. Now that I'm living in that area, I'm so happy to rediscover them again!My appointment was with Nicole. She is fantastic! I have two different textures going on with my hair, but it's primarily curly/wavy. I went in only knowing what I didn't want, but otherwise put myself/my hair in her expert hands. I am beyond thrilled with the results! She gave me the perfect cut for my face, my hair texture, and my utter inability to wield a blow dryer and a brush, simultaneously (apparently I have two left hands when it comes to the use of styling tools).Give Nicole a try! I stopped in at the salon last week at lunch one day looking for a haircut and a permanent home for my hair. The moment I stepped in I felt a bit out of my element in the stylish, hip atmosphere, the young lady at the front counter welcomed me with the friendliest smile and immediately made me feel welcome, after a brief conversation she informed me that Maegan was available if I would like to go ahead and have the cut. What a wonderful experience! From the moment I stepped in I was treated wonderfully, Maegan listened to hair complaints and we set off for the shampoo area, Wow what treatment I hated to leave it was so relaxing. Long story short THANK YOU! I have a great style that I can actually manage and have received more compliments on the cut than I can even believe.It has been quite a while since I walked out of a salon feeling anything except regret, very happy I wandered over during my lunch hour and discovered Hair Loft and Maegan.Thank you again and looking forward to my next visit. Where do I even begin? The entire staff is probably the friendliest I've ever seen! Everyone is focused on making sure their clientele stays happy and comfortable throughout their visit. Â Alaina did such an amazing job with my hair! She's very passionate about what she does, and she makes sure to take great care of you and what you want. Â She explained everything she was doing, which for someone who isn't the biggest fan of going to hair salons, this was probably the biggest standout to me. After attempting to cut my own bangs I had a complete hair emergency! Â Out of town and in need of some help I went to the Hair Loft. Â Within walking distance to the Hyatt Regency (my hotel) I arrived to a very welcoming staff, Â they offered me something to drink and before I could sit down my stylist (Andrea) was ready to help me! Â After a brief consult we decided on cut, color, and style! I originally was only going to get a cut to fix my bangs but I felt like I was in such good hands I went for color too! Â Andrea was attentive, really understood the look I wanted and made it happen! I'm so happy I cut my bangs and ended up at this fabulous salon! (5/12) Love this place!!! I wanted to pamper myself & get my hair blown out for my niece's wedding. As a fellow hairstylist, I'm super picky; maybe even more than the average client. When I'm checking out a  salon, I'm looking at the atmosphere, reviews & the vibe. And this salon was everything I needed! The front desk was extremely helpful & got me right in. The shampoo bowls were comfy & I liked the styling products they carried. I had my blowout done by Andrea. She was such a pleasure to talk to & knew her shit! I really loved the fact that the salon did a lot of education for the stylist & overall the salon felt very inviting. I highly recommend her for a service! Maegan hooked me up! I made an appointment for my lunch break (2hrs). Risky, I know, but they assured me that this sort of thing happens all the time. The salon is really nice; there's a very clean, modern feel about the place. Lots of light, both natural and otherwise in a mostly open space. We did a quick consult about what I wanted/what would work before she took me to the shampoo bowl and I love that she asked to see example pictures so we'd both be on the same page.She took both before and after pics of my hair and ya'll.... the transformation was real, lol. I love my new cut. We went with a bob and she even gave me a lil bit of a fade on the side that I have shaved. I had a great experience and even got finished in time to get back to work. My first experience here, there was a snafu with my color that turned out way too dark on my roots. Â I came back the next day and the team made it right at no charge and gave me a second blow out for free as well since we had to do a clarifying wash to tone down the semi-permanent color on my hair. Â They also gave me some discounts for the inconvenience and were extremely conscientious!I live about two blocks from here so I go in once every 10 days or so for a blow out. Â I have had multiple different stylist do them all with fantastic results that usually last 3-4 days! Â Prices vary by stylist for all services based on their experience and specialties so check first.A couple weeks ago, Nicole did a conditioning treatment, toner, and blow out on my hair before a wedding in Vegas at the very last minute and it looked absolutely phenomenal in pictures. Â I got so many compliments on my hair the entire 4 day weekend (yes the blow out lasted that long!). Â Nicole made great recommendations on my full highlight for my next appointment and was really friendly and easy to talk to.I don't love the way the color bar is set up and the fact that you sit awkwardly at a table where 2-3 other people are also having color done, but overall the salon is modern and reasonably priced for a downtown salon.
