What do you love most about your job?
What gets me inspired the most about working with business owners is to see that moment when they grasp the bigger picture concept of what their business can look like and see the steps to get there!
What inspired you to start your own business?
As an auditor and then a controller, I had the opportunity to observe a large number of different businesses (different industries, different leadership styles, different sizes and different business models). I decided I wanted to help small business owners and solopreneurs to create structure within their business (and within their role) that would enable them to grow the business while avoiding many of the common pitfalls that can lead to failure. To see the progress and the growth in them as they adapt and grow into the role we create together is truly rewarding!
Why should our clients choose you?
I bring a different and unique skill set to helping them grow their business. The financial statements tell the story of how business is really going. This is why banks will always ask for financial statements; tax returns and bank statements. It is really hard to make the numbers tell a different story to what is really going on. So when I work with someone we start with their goals, but also understanding where the business is truly at and create a plan to help them see how they will achieve their goals.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I do most of my coaching/consulting remotely using zoom. If someone wants me to be onsite that can certainly be arranged, however unless I am working with a team typically everything that I do with a business owner can be done remotely with the same outcomes.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I moved all my appointments to virtual appointments. As Covid-19 restrictions continue to be lifted and people feel comfortable engaging with each other in a live setting I plan to offer my in-person classes that can help business owners gain clarity around:
1. Their personal gifts that make them a unique business owner
2. How to create time by focusing on productivity challenges within their business and
3. Understanding who their ideal client is and which service(s) they should focus on to maximize their business revenue .. but also their enjoyment of their business.
1-1 Coaching/Consulting
We work with you to create a customized strategic plan for your service based business and then work alongside you as a co-pilot to help you implement the key steps into your business to enable you to create the role YOU WANT as well as setting the business up to operate without you being TOO involved.
Group Coaching
We offer a group coaching option where you will be able to have a topic discussed every meeting (2x per month). Not only will you hear feedback specific to YOUR challenges/questions but you will be able to hear about other business owners questions/challenges and utilize that information for your own business!
Also includes some networking opportunities as well as an education topic monthly.
Client Avatar / Niche Definition
If you are struggling to hone in on a specific client avatar for your offerings, or are wondering what niche would work best based on your background and skillset - then we have a process to help you uncover the answers to both of these questions.
Messaging
If you are in a networking group and are able to share a "commercial" every week and present to the group occasionally during the year, then we have a service to help you create a core message to speak to your ideal customers, while also ensuring that the other networking members get a crystal clear picture of what you do and who you want to work with so they can give you high quality referrals. This work will also allow you to create your presentation to hit the key points you NEED to communicate to the other members of your group (they are YOUR extended sales team ... use them effectively!)
