We love Good Citizen Dog! The obedience training helped us communicate with our dog so that he knows what is expected of him, and their day care wears him out! We love knowing that our bully breed is out playing for the day instead of being put in a kennel just because of his breed. We love Lou and his team! Our dog is always excited to come and play when we drop her off for boarding and doggie day care. We found them when we had trouble with our new rescue and Lou went above and beyond to help us out. Since then we have had lessons, doggie day care and have had her boarded and wow, have they taken such great care of her! I sometimes think that she never wants to leave! We needed a safe place for our girl to socialize and I’m so grateful we found good citizen. I trust them and my most importantly, my dog trusts them. Good CitiZen Dog had been amazing not only in obedience training but also in providing my fur kid a safe, clean and friendly environment for daycare. My dog Sixx cannot wait to get to GC in the mornings, he rounds the corner and acts like he's home. I recently kenneled Sixx for a week and he came home happy and exhausted from playing the whole time. My mom has been taking her new puppy Sheba to puppy kindergarten for about 4 weeks now. She is absolutely loving it! The training is positive and very effective. The trainers understand that sometimes 9 week old puppies have really good days and some really lazy days at class and adjust for both giving you the tools you need to continue your training at home. We've made amazing progress with our rescue dog, Huckleberry. Lou's approach to training focuses on making a profound connection with our dog. At the end of every session, we were armed with the skills, tools and pointed feedback directly relating to the needs of our situation and unique relationship with our pet. His method is about instilling obedience, but coming from the position of love and respect between human and pet. As far as care goes, our dog is our child in a sense. I wouldn't trust anyone else but Good Citizen with our fur baby. They bleed love and compassion for animals in everything they do. I just got a call from a new client who was in Boise and attended one of Lou's classes with his son's new puppy.
