We recently celebrated a bachelorette in Sonoma. Chef Nate and his wife did an amazing job! They came to our AirBnB and brought all the groceries and plates and cooked us an amazing 4-course dinner! They were able to create a customized menu to our liking that fit our taste preferences and budget. All the dishes were so perfectly balanced, beautiful, and delicious! All of us were blown away. My personal favorites were the Summer Salad and Kakuni (see photos). I felt like I was at a Michelin star restaurant! He has a lot of experience cooking under Morimoto, and working at Saison and Atelier Crenn which really showed in the beautiful presentation and delicious flavors. They were also very personable and professional. Chef Nate came out to explain each dish as they came out. They even cleaned all the dishes after the meal was over. Seriously such an amazing and seamless process from start to finish. I highly HIGHLY recommend them if you're looking to hire a private chef for a special meal or event! I booked Gold Coast to do a 5-course fine dining birthday dinner for my husband's 70th birthday at an Air B&B we rented in the Sonoma wine country. Chef Nate is an amazing chef and a true culinary artist. All of us were amazed by every course. Freshest ingredients in every dish .... from the fish to prime steaks, veggies, and sauces.  And the dessert was outstanding, too!  Our daughter is pregnant, so he even made some cooked sushi for her so she could enjoy that course with us. Chef Nate and his wife Jackie are friendly, helpful and very professional. They brought everything with them, very organized, cleared each course and served the next with the right amount of time between each, described every course at the table, and served the wines we provided to be served. Wanted to plan a special dining experience for my in-laws after not dining indoors for almost 2 years due to Covid.  We are huge omakase fans so I was looking for fine dining/omakase/kaiseki style. After a little research, I hired Omotenashi for an intimate dinner at my house. I cannot say enough great things about Chef Nate from his responsiveness during the planning process to the beautiful and delicious foods he served our family.  Chef Nate even made special noodle dishes for my small kids.  My in-laws have been very cautious during the pandemic so it brought them great comfort to know Chef Nate was vaccinated, wore a mask the whole time, and was even willing to take a rapid test upon request.  We would absolutely recommend Omotenashi, and would love to hire them again. Recently celebrated a bachelorette in Napa a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of experiencing a 5-course dinner by Chef Nate. Nate and his team were prompt in their arrival to our bungalow in Downtown Napa and prepared our dinner within the comfort of our space's kitchen. He and his team were professional, friendly, and served up a delicious meal. A five-star combo of impeccable food and service, Omotenashi was easily one of the top highlights of our trip. Our 5-course meal consisted of the following items:- Japanese Yellowtail- Japanese Sweet Potato- a diverse selection of Maki Rolls- Prime New York steak- CheesecakeEvery single item on the menu was extraordinary. The flavors, sauces, and cuts of the fish and meat were of the highest quality. Portions of each dish were the perfect size. Many of us were stuffed after the sushi rolls came out, but how could we not try the steak and dessert? Stuffing those bites in to taste everything served was a necessity. As a sushi lover, the maki rolls were phenomenal. The Spicy Snow crab roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll were easily the top two favorites. The marriage of all of the ingredients worked seamlessly together. The coffee cheesecake was the most heavenly way to end a delicious meal. Also another favorite from the menu.Omotenashi, Chef Nate, and his team made this occasion super special and it was evident that each dish served was made with effort and love.
