What a great place to visit. We had our IABCA dog show at this venue and the people I interacted with (club members) were very helpful.

The trainers there are amazing! We had Deb and Anita and they were so helpful and kind! Deb taught us a lot of ways to help our dog be obedient. Anita worked one on one with us and put in so much effort to make sure our dog was learning what he needed to know. We're so thankful for forest city dog training! More...

We came with Cujo and we left with Raji. I have utilized FCDTC long ago, but this facility is excellent. We started with Puppy class and continued with Obedience. Our dog was 95 percent wonderful, then there was the other 5 percent. Last Tuesday night he had an all out tantrum. The instructor was giving us advice which we used in the ring. After 5 minutes, they removed us to an open available ring with one of the instructors. She spent a good 15 minutes with us and we left with specific instructions. Both instructors said "It will take 1 week. Stay with it." They were right. We graduated Obedience with a happy dog and happy owners. Much appreciation! More...

Excellent! The instructors are very knowledgeable, and use their own dogs for visible instructions. Would recommend class for either big or small dogs, you and your pet will get so much education and a wonderful bonding experience during classes.

Forest City Dog Training has been the best part of my Saturday! My first Saturday of beginning obedience class was an eye opener to all the things I needed to work on with Lucy to build a bond and communicate better. We are on week 5 out of 6 and I love this part of my Saturdays. Our trainers are great! They help you build your confidence and teach you how to build up your dog's. They really make class fun and make sure you have all the tools to go home and work with your dog. Can't wait for more classes! More...

FCDTC is full of the most wonderful trainers and students. The time and attention given to the dogs and their owners is amazing and I feel like I've genuinely learned a lot after each and every session.
The facility is large enough to accommodate multiple rings at a time, they offer classes in obedience, agility, conformation, therapy and more!
This last session was a bit busy, but I think that's just proof as to how great all the volunteers are and that EVERYONE wants to bring their dog(s) there! I know that the overly large class size issue has been addressed and some changes have been made for the next session so that the classes stay a reasonable size. Having such a large influx of students was unexpected, but I'm sure it was welcome, none the less. The more the merrier I say :)
I cannot speak any higher about the trainers and all who help out with every event and nightly classes. You all do such an amazing job, even when the class sizes get big.
Do yourself (and your doggy) a favor and sign up for a class. You won't regret it!

After taking one of our dogs here a year ago, we learned how much we didn't know about training, even though we've owned numerous dogs before and have always taken pride in how well behaved our's have been. We have since taken all three of our dogs (all Chihuahuas!) to multiple classes at FCDTC and even joined the club! This is a not-for-profit organization that is motivated by training dogs and handlers, from puppies and beginners to champion level! I encourage anyone interested in training their dog to come out to the club to observe and talk to people if you're unsure, or just call and ask questions. More...

Forest City is the BEST place to train your dog. We adopted a 4 month old puppy and as first time dog owners my fiancé and I had no clue how to train a dog. Maybelle is now in her 4th class at Forest City, and she is training to get her CGC. They have been wonderful, honest, helpful, and overall being in class is FUN! Being at the club, I've seen all types of breeds and all types of behaviors. It is amazing the work they do for people and their pets! I've learned just as much as Maybelle, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. More...

We just began our second Obedience session. From Week 1 Session 1 to now is like a night and day difference. They didn't just train my dog, they trained me to communicate with her. I can see the excitement she gets when I praise her because she knows that we communicated successfully. We are so grateful! Love that the trainers will take time and work one on one with each dog on individual problems. Looking forward to the rest of Session 2! More...

I signed my beagle puppy up for his first obedience session, and after researching how difficult is to train his breed I reluctantly shows up to his first class. The trainers (Deb and Jane) were beyond wonderful. They helped me become more confident in training my pup, and more importantly, my pup came out better behaved! These ladies were so good with constructive criticism and were able to help each parent and dog learn what works for specifically for their dog/breed. I appreciate the kindness and the patience they showed us all. Most importantly, they made us all laugh and have a good time! Thank you! More...

I took my 10 month old English bulldog here. We tried training at home with her but with little success. I was ready to throw in the towel. Came here for training on Wednesday night's and Sadie Mae responded very well. She is now a delight to have at home. The instructors were firm and knowledgeable. It's just what we needed! More...
