I had gone to a different salon in Beverly and had my hair done by a different "hair dresser". I had gotten what I thought was a dark purple ombre that looked so pretty, unfortunately two weeks later my pretty purple faded to the most disgusting gray with giant green splotches! Not only did I pay way too much for my hair to be done it also didn't even last a month! I had only washed it a few times as well so the fading was just ridiculous. I was desperate to get my ugly hair fixed and was willing to go to whoever would take my the fastest. My cousin referred Melissa at Shears to me and I am so glad she did! Melissa could take me the very next day and I wouldn't have to live through the weekend with God awful ugly hair. I was afraid that I would be doomed to live with green hair for the rest of all eternity but Melissa refused to let me walk out of her salon with any little trace of green left in my hair. She did an amazing job and not only did I have healthier looking hair when she was done but there was no green left at all! She also did not charge me a ridiculous amount of money for her miracle work either! I am so glad that I went to Shears because Melissa is a miracle worker and she definitely saved my hair! I will definitely be going back to Shears the next time I need my hair done!! I will also be referring Melissa to all my friends and probably strangers and anyone who will listen (lol) !! More...

Shears Salon is an amazing place! All of the artist there are kind, talented, and very accommodating. Everytime I go there, I feel relaxed and excited to see what these ladies have in store for me and my hair. I'm absolutely blown away, I've known Olivia for almost 10 years and I was so excited to get my hair done by her! Such an amazing and talented girl! She made me feel like a new woman and takes a lot of pride in her work! Talked me through every step of my crazy hair transformation, went from frizzy, mousey colored hair to blonde bombshell! I'm usually one to have some unusual or unnatural hair colors, but for my pregnancy announcement photos I decided to lean towards a more natural color. I put my full trust in Olivia, and she mixed the perfect color that gave my hair lots of class while still keeping that hint of edge! I loved it so much, and I don't think I have ever had so many people at my work compliment my hair before. Olivia is magical!!! I love having blonde hair! But blonde hair comes with a price usually! Blonde can go wrong in so many ways. Melissa the owner and lead stylist had me blonde so many times, and every time it's PERFECT! It doesn't come out orange/yellow and if it does start to turn she helps you figure out why! ( diet, hair products, general health) we have also placed hair extensions on several occasions and they always come out perfect. I get so many compliments after I get my hair done! My experience at Flaunt Salon is always amazing! The ladys all do a great job at everything, and you get exactly what you ask for! As plenty know most salons you ask for something and you get the complete opposite....but nope not with the ladies at Flaunt! Will never go anywhere else! Sam is amazing ! I came in with black hair, and she has gradually gotten me to blonde, carefully without any brass color. And made sure my hair stayed as healthy as possible through the process . I decided to go see Melissa after my mom passed away 1) bc I hadn’t left the house in days out of sadness, and she is 2 minutes from my house & 2) I went to Danvers High with her.
Melissa and her team (1st time I went it was her, Olivia & Sam working) were absolutely AMAZING to me. They let me vent - even though we all know that hair stylists may as well have a therapist degree as well!!!!! ;o) I left feeling so beautiful and happy. The prices were the lowest I’ve ever paid, and the quality of her salon/staff/knowledge/product was BETTER than other comparable high-end salons in the area that I’ve visited.

I just went back for my 2nd visit after having a bad week. I honestly didn’t even need to have anything done yet that badly, but I knew I would feel better when I left with a nice blowout. I contacted them, basically in the middle of the night Thursday, and Melissa got me in on Saturday (1 day later - unheard of at salons!!!). When I got there, I found out that Melissa had taken her own personal time OFF, away from family & her sick baby, to come do my hair for me. Literally could’ve cried bc of her kindness yesterday.

Then,Olivia did my makeup and taught me some new tricks, and once again I left soooo satisfied, feeling gorg!! Once we were done with my makeup, I realized that Olivia had stayed after closing hours; probably to make sure I didn’t feel rushed & left totally happy.

**these women are class acts, take classes constantly to provide up to date/completely knowledgeable service, and make you feel like you are kicking back in your best friends living room. OH! Olivia also slaaaaaays @ waxing brows. She’s transformed mine after one session. Highest recommendations from me for Flaunt Salon!!!! More...
