What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There are several elements to a great photograph. The process starts with a beautiful connection between the photographer and the subject. Understanding what you want to communicate with the photo is key. Once the connection and understanding are established you bring in some light. The light creates shadows. The shadows and lights give you the mood and feeling of the image. These are the elements of a great photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
1. How will you use the photos?
2. What mood do you want to communicate?
3. How do you feel in front of the camera?
4. When can we start?
What do you love most about your job?
I love photography because every project is a creative expression. People working together to establish a creative work that communicates to others the ideas and feeling needed for the project. Photography is a technical skill with a creative result. I love that!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a photography company many years ago and loved it. It didn't pay well so I moved into the IT world. After a long career in IT, I decided to move to something I love to do. Today I spend my days with a camera in my hands, making people look good and happy with the results.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work closely with clients, it's a personal relationship and remains so even after the project. I have an extensive knowledge of all types of photography and the equipment to accomplish the results needed. I'm always available for my clients and respond as soon as possible when they call or text.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. Many of the services are online. Contacting us, booking appointment, previewing images etc. All arrangements can be done online. Of course taking photos have to be done in person (unless they are products shipped to me).
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I stay in compliance with CDC guidelines when it comes to Covid-19.
