About

I coach corporate leaders and small business owners to solve employee, business and professional growth problems such as lack of time, communication, confidence, relationship and employee challenges. They end up seeing better effectiveness and efficiency at work, more business or career growth, working fewer hours with less stress and anxiety, increasing their take-home pay and truly loving their work and working relationships.

I was recommended to Distinctive Coaching by a friend who has owned her own business for almost 20 years. Based on her glowing review and extremely positive revenue results, I was encouraged to contact Jason. I didn’t quite know what to expect since it was my first time speaking with a coach. I was pleasently surprised at how understanding and calming he was. His energetically calming vibe was comforting and connected us instantly. My experience was perhaps somewhat unique as I wasn’t contacting him to learn how to improve my business, rather my purpose in working with him was to transition out of running my own business and determine my next career-life paths. Here’s where the fun and learning began! As someone who had been in the same industry for 20 years, I was blessed to have an extended period of time off to explore my passions and craft them into a new life and occupation. Though I consider myself to be highly self aware, I was learning things about myself with each week’s phone appointment. I heard myself saying things that I was shocked to hear, over and over. I would answer a question with a firm NO and instantly change my answer to a firm YES and then look around the room to see who said that. The months of working with Jason combined with having an extended time off work changed my life in multiple ways for the better. I was no longer dedicating my life to a stresssul and often hostile job that was negatively affecting my physical, mental and emotional health. With Jason’s help, I was exploring and muscle testing random whimsical thoughts and ideas to determine what would truly make my life more joyful, meaningful and peaceful. The results ending up being nothing short of astounding and empowering. My husband and I were given the faith and calm inspiration to pack up and move across country, something we had discussed for years but I never had the belief in possibility to do until I worked with Jason. I credit my loving and selflessly generous husband with the idea, an extremely thoughtful and caring therapist for her never ending support, a nightmare job followed by self exploration with the life changing assistance from Jason for transforming me into the most calm and clear thinking version of myself- without this I likely would not be where I am now living the joyful life I want and deserve. Q&As

What I love most about coaching others is seeing my clients using their natural skills to truly excel in their professional roles, improving the performance of themselves and those around them, and finally being able to have the freedom and rewards to enjoy their life outside of work - where life really matters most.

Taking my background in the corporate world in management and training positions and having been a partner in the small business world in a restaurant group, I've always held fast to the belief that in your professional life, you should focus on the intersection of what you love the most and what you're the best at.

I've also always believed that work should not consume your life; it should be there to support you in living the life that you really want, doing the things you want to do and being with the people who you love.

Going into business coaching was the way that I can both do the things that I love and that I'm best at, while helping others to do what they love and they are the best at.

In helping business owners in this way, there's a ripple effect where not only do my clients' lives and situations improve, but so do that of their families, and their employees, and of their employees' families… and so on.

In doing this, my clients and I are in a partnership to make countless lives better.

And that's what really matters.

One thing I teach my clients is that it's very important to stand in their greatness, to respectfully and humbly toot their own horn, as it were :-)

So I have to take my own advice when questions like this come up, and I'm proud to do it because I've had some really great accomplishments in working with clients.

I think clients should choose to speak with me if they want the experience, guidance and resources from someone who was in the corporate world leading and creating teams and departments in global companies like Zurich Scudder Investments, Premiere Global Services and Microsoft as well as in the small business world running startups and facing all the challenges that come with that.

But just being in these positions isn't enough to say that someone can really help you. So additionally, I've been certified through multiple coaching programs and am also an certified emotional and energetic healer, tools which I use to help my clients break through internal subconscious limitations quickly and easily, so they can truly be the best versions of themselves and facilitate those around them to be the best versions of themselves.

And that last part is one of the reasons that my clients are able to make such huge jumps with their career and business effectiveness, business revenue growth, employees productivity and performance, and improvement in their lifestyles in such short spans of time, like my client Christina, who fixed her communication challenges and got her direct employees and outside vendors to finally understand how to best do their jobs, making her job so much easier; my client Nick, who tripled his business revenue in three months while enjoying more of his work; and my client Greg, who took his work week from 80 hours a week down to just two hours a week (that's not a typo) while his team took up the slack and continued to grow the business, in just one month.

And many other examples just like this.

I love seeing my clients make small tweaks to their thinking and skills that yield huge leaps in revenue, productivity, profits and overall happiness.

My coaching is provided on the phone, online and over email/Internet, so scheduling and accessibility are easy. Most client engagements last one to three months with additional support if desired. I believe in making fast, sustainable changes that reduce overwhelm and make everything easier.

Since I've been working virtually with my clients for the past 15+ years, I haven't had to make any changes due to Covid-19, except to adapt our work to serve them even better in their changing work environments and professional and family dynamics.
