I have tried many nail salons over the years and have not found one that is as good as Delane's - not even close. Â Most recently, I had toenail surgery and Myeshia knew exactly how to take care of my nail as it grew out and when it was OK to apply polish. I referred my husband to Delane for nail fungus treatment and she has made the world of difference. He had neglected his nails/feet forever and she's been about to get him on scheduled pedicures. If I could leave more stars I would! I got a pedicure and I was serviced by Ms.Karis she was sweet, gentle and extremely thorough. The foot massage was amazing and I felt like I had new feet by the time I was done. Karis and the rest of the staff made sure every person in there truly enjoyed their service. You go to a podiatrist to deal with serious foot and nail problems and you go to a manicurist for a nice foot appearance.  But what about if you want to find a combination of the two ?.  I have only recently found that there are pedicure specialists who deal with damaged nails and can coax them back in to a normal appearance and reduce nail fungus as well. They are called Medical Manicurists the owner of Delane's Natural Nail, Ms Delane herself is a highly trained practitioner.  If a podiatrist was willing to give you the time to improve the LOOK of your nails (and they aren't) this would be the service you would get.  It is a very functional service and care.  Since I am a diabetic, nail care is very important to me. I was very reluctant to go to a general service salon, as I thought they would not want to work on my nails (fungal problem) or wouldn't know how to aid in healing.  I was amazed at the improvement in my first visit alone.  How much improvement?  Several pair of shoes are now comfortably fitting and I did not feel the need to keep my feet hidden from my sweety!  Over the next two visits my nails now look almost normal.  I will keep going every 5-6 week to keep up the improvement as my nails grow out to a normal length.   Also, since my Diabetes has increased the dryness of my skin.  I tried one of the spa treatments that are offered, a sugar scrub on my legs.  The flakey dryness disappeared.  This is a treatment that, with my home moisturizing,  keeps the  problem under control.  I find the prices quite reasonable.  The first visit (that was over an hour and a half) was about $110, and included several different treatments.  Each visit goes a little faster and gets a little simpler.  And each visit has been quite a step down in price.  Now, the cost is down to even a little less than what I would expect to pay for a pedicure and skin scrub at a cosmetic service only salon.  Ms Delane's business ethics include a great deal of service to her community.  You should take the time to visit her website and see some of the programs she supports.     If you need some functional care of your nails or are too embarrassed to take your problem nails to a standard salon you need to book an appointment at Delane's Natural Nails with the owner herself. It had many years since I received a facial. I would always geaux to my Aunt. She did an excellent job. Upon her passing I refused to geaux to anyone else. Until I met Paris! Received a facial from Paris and I feel amazing. She analyzed my skin and told me everything she was doing. Â The neck and shoulder massage had me melting - so very nice! I booked a Signature Facial with Paris for the 1st time online . I received a friendly appointment reminder phone call from Paris herself a day or maybe 2 days before. I must admit I have not been taking good care of myself haven't had a facial in over 15 years. I made an appointment at Delanes and had special treatment by Paris very polite very personable approachable made sure everything was just right treated me the way a person should be treated. I appreciate this young lady and I would encourage you to go to Delanes for your beauty needsThis is not the first time I've been to Delanes I've gone there for my manicure and pedicure the salon is clean very well lit maintained and the atmosphere is peaceful and warm. I went to Delane's Natural Nail Care for my very first facial. The esthetician who serviced me was Paris. Upon arrival, I parked on the street and was able to walk into the building where Delane's suite is. I took the elevator to the suite on the second floor, there was signs to direct you to each business in the building which made it easy to find where I needed to go. I rang the doorbell and was greeted warmly by one of the stylists who works in this salon. Paris was ready and waiting for my arrival, I was greeted kindly by Paris who had on a mask , took my temperature, and also gave me hand sanitizer. The COVID protocol was in place! Loved that! After, I filled out a safety form which asked about allergies, products I used on my skin, & any problems I was currently having with my skin. Once I finished, Paris escorted me back to her facial room. When we entered she instructed me on what I needed to do to properly prepare for my facial and gave me prompt time to change. Paris came back and we got started, the facial bed was clean and I felt comfortable. Before we began with the facial, she swaddled me in covers to ensure I felt comfortable during my facial. (The facial bed was heated too, that was a plus!) Then, we started the facial, Paris washed her hands and put gloves on.. she also showed me she was double-masked and wore a face visor to ensure COVID-19 procedures. I really loved how sanitized and clean her workspace was. So the facial began, we talked about products and about each step of the process of the signature facial. I'm the kind of person who loves to learn and know what things are. Paris was extremely KNOWLEDGEABLE on each question I asked, while also providing me with additional helpful information. The atmosphere was so relaxing and soothing I felt myself doze off a few times. The music was so peaceful and added to the experience. I loved how she massaged my shoulders and my temples, this felt like the spa. The facial was an hour, she extracted my pores, removed dead skin, exfoliated, cleansed, masked, hydrated my face, within each step. It was amazing, did I say this was my first facial? And the experience was absolutely perfect for my first time. After the facial was done, she met me at the front after I got dressed, I paid and booked my next appointment, she offers small refreshments before you leave and gives you her business card. Today was my first time getting a pedicure done and Keryflex (Prosthetic Nail Care). The overall experience was good and the young lady who did the pedicure and Keryflex (Prosthetic Nail Care) service today was great. The before and after look of my toenails only looked awesome. However, upon arriving home I noticed once the moisturizers she had placed on my feet had wared out the bottom of my feet wasn't soaked and scrubbed well at all. It was still tough and I had a lot of dead skin and cracking throughout. It wasn't what I expected as if I went to a regular nail salon for a pedicure and left with my feet fully soaked and scrubbed feeling smooth. The $150 plus $40 tip = $190 I paid in cash was truly not worth it besides the one toenail placement. I will probably only use them for the toenail placement in a couple of months depending on how it's doing but will not use any pedicure services moving forward. I received a call and took over a canceled appointment last minute so there was a possibility my service was rushed as other appointments arrived.
