What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Mainly enjoying the whole process. If my clients are having fun then the photos are going to look great!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Whenever we take on a new wedding client we like to hear about what the most important things to have photographed or videotaped are to them and then we focus on different styles of photography and what they like about our work. From there we also ask important questions like how large is the wedding party, how many guests, etc. so that we can make sure we have a coverage package that would best suit their needs. I never try to push the client into a package that's too much for them, but rather suggest one that will cover what is most important to them.
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to work with couples on one of the best days of their lives! Nothing beats capturing the moment when a couple gets to see each other for the first time after all the preparation! Knowing that my photos and video will remain in the family archives for years to come makes me strive to do my best work every single time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up with a mother who was a photographer and just really enjoyed helping her in her studio. When it came time for me to decide on a career path I couldn't see myself doing anything else.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over 20 years of experience photographing weddings of all sizes and cultures because of this I'm able to anticipate special candid shots before they happen, organize group portraits in a quick and efficient manner as well as help pose the couple for their best portraits. Couples who choose us for their wedding place a high value on wedding photography and expect the best!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can meet with couples prior to their event remotely via Zoom, Skype or FaceTime. At this time we do not currently offer live-streaming at events, but will provide a download of the full ceremony to a private "You Tube" link after the editing process if requested when providing video services.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We're doing a lot of initial consultations via the phone or Zoom, but can still meet in person if requested. We are adhering to our states mask mandate and continuing to sanitize between each meeting. At the events we are working we're still wearing masks and keeping as much distance as we can between ourselves and guests.
