Dog Training

Rachel the trainer was absolutely wonderful. She kept us posted with daily videos and e-mails. She picked-up and dropped-off my dog. I can't say enough about her. If you use someone else you're making a mistake. You will not be disappointed! More...

Dog Training

Rachel is amazing! We decided on the ten lesson package and it was so worth it. She helped us with our new puppy's basic obedience and behavioral issues with our older dog. She gave us so much useful advice and tips to help with training. I liked how he used positive reinforcement first and pairing that with leash pressure ended up being much more effective for us. I appreciated the way she showed us how to implement the techniques and the amount of patience she had with us. I would highly recommend her services. Thank you Rachel! More...

Dog Training

Rachel has been fantastic. I live the option of her coming to our home and training Willow in her own environment and it Mayes it easier for the entire family to be involved. She’s wonderful with our rescue puppy; just her calm voice and nature puts both us and Willow at ease, though she is clear and direct in her communication of commands and associated corrections. She is prompt, courteous, friendly, professional, and very respectful ( and used PPE in our home.) I live the follow up emails after to use for the following week to kept us on track and help guide us with any possible difficulty in training without her. Willow is making huge progress, and I will be using her for more advanced training later.

Highly recommended!!

Dog Training

Rachel was amazing! She took our wild lab puppy, and we have 3 young children, to a place that we can all be together as a family with a well trained dog. I highly recommend her.

Dog Training

Working with Rachel with our puppy Nikko was great. Every session we could see a change in Nikko’s behavior and she was getting better each time. After each session, Rachel would send recaps so we could practice afterwards which was always helpful to go back to reference. Now when we take Nikko on walks it’s actually enjoyable and easier, we are no longer being tugged along. More...

Before I met with Rachel, my pit-mix Frankie and I had participated in various different group training classes. I would say I had pretty decent experiences. It wasn't until I had a 1 on 1 session with Rachel where certain things just clicked. For me personally, I felt like I understood a lot more when I was working 1 on 1. I was able to ask as many questions as I needed and it seemed easier for her as the trainer to see certain Frankie behaviors that weren't always present while in group classes. Frankie acted like a total different dog during our group classes. It was as if she knew she was there to learn.

With the one on one classes I loved that Rachel was able to come to the park that Frankie and I go to as well as the house. I felt like we were so much more successful being in our normal environment.

Having a dog like Frankie I have to be extremely persistent and on at all times. Always watching for other dogs, if there are suspicious looking people walking past, scooters driving by. Through this training I've learned that with being persistent I have to make sure I'm consistent with my language as well. Rachel was able to address certain habits of mine that I didn't even realize could be an issue, but for a stubborn leash reactive pup like Frankie everything matters. She was able to pin point little things that I as the dog owner needed to work on as well as making it more clear for me to see how Frankie thinks and why she responds the way she does. I feel like she does a great job at understanding not only the dog, but does an amazing job at understanding the needs of the dog owner and can empathize with our human habits. Needless to say Rachel has been a tremendous help! I highly recommend her services!

Rachel is extremely professional and what I love most about her approach is the primary focus on positive reinforcement. She really wants to set you and your puppy/dog up for success and teaches you how to be proactive in preventing accidents and following commands. Rewards are integrated into training, resulting in positive interactions and relationship building between you and your pup. I can’t say enough how helpful Rachel has been and highly recommend her training services! More...
