Our experience with Counter Culture was terrific - they installed a bathroom vanity countertop for us several months ago.  The salespeople were super helpful and knowledgeable, without being at all pushy .  We were using several contractors for the bathroom redo and CC was really good about coordinating everything and had lots of good ideas.  They even let us check-out the store samples of tiles so we could see them in our space.  This was unbelievably useful - we fell in love with one of the samples immediately, which was only realized in the space itself.  We highly recommend this company! Every part of them has been incredible. I called them and talked out options with them, and then I walked in there at 5:59 (ugh traffic in DC) and they treated me like I wasn't there a minute before they closed. Amber, Solomon, Omar, and the other lady (I'm drawing a blank on her name) were INCREDIBLE. I only needed a small scrap for a small breakfast bar and they treated me like I was buying enough granite for a huge kitchen renovation. They took time to try to help compliment the granite that's in my kitchen and sent me several options of scraps they had over. They even sent Omar our to asses the space on a Saturday morning, and installed it in less than a week. I'm floored. Next time I need anything,  I'm going to them. We just finished working with Counter Culture on quartz installation on 2 baths and our new kitchen. Sol and the rest of the crew were absolutely wonderful to work with, from start to finish. The price was great, and everything about the process was painless. We needed a small bar sink in our island, in addition to the double sink on another piece of quartz -- they threw in the small sink for free, and gave us a very good price on the stainless double sink. Counter Culture is the best! Friendly and easy service, very fair prices. They were spot-on with helping me find the counters to match the style I was looking for in my kitchen. They are no-pressure and totally honest with pricing. I looked at other places, including Home Depot, and found that that Counter Culture had much more variety and similar, if not lower, prices. Great customer service, great product, great job on installation! Everything was wonderful! My sister-in-law had recently used a big box store and then Counter Culture when she sold her house and bought a new one. She highly reccomended Counter Culture over the big box store. I went with her reccomendation and I'm so glad I did. Even the installation guys were friendly and helpful. They were very particular about cleaning up and even though it was later in the day and they had a long way to drive they did not rush my installation. The gentleman that came out to measure was very meticulous and reccomended rounding certain corners because of my little ones etc. I'm confident I would not have gotten that level of attention to detail with a big box store. Before I start my review, one of the review with one star clearly is a competitor. How are you going to place a review for a service you did not received. Yelp, please get your ish together. After shopping around (Home Depot, Lowes, mom-pop stores etc.) for quotes, my husband and I felt uneasy ... not because of the price but it seems we were begging the sales consultants (whatever they are called) for their business. Also, we had a specific time-frame that we want everything to be done which is one month to fully renovate the entire ground floor (floors, paint, cabinets, counter top etc.). Feeling discouraged, we stopped by at Counter Culture since we drive past there for many years! We were greeted by Omar followed by Solomon and Amber (I believe that is her name) and let me tell you; we instantly feel a positive vibe around them. All 3 took their time helping us out picking out the "perfect" granite that would go with our gray-modern theme. Solomon walked us step-by-step by going through each line item on the invoice, where to go to pick out our countertop and what to expect. They are extremely responsive, accommodating (we ran into an issue that we had to change our install date), professional and definitely know their stuff. They clearly love what they do!
