Carrie was wonderful with our sometimes nervous beagle! Our dog was called "very difficult" the last time she went to a groomer. She was frantic and skittish when I picked her up that time. Because of that I was so scared of how today would go. To my happy surprise Carrie said she was super sweet and did great! My explanation for that is Carrie and her staff were as kind & doggie professional as they appeared to be when we walked in. I couldn't believe how calm & happy Willow was when they brought her out. We are so happy with City Pet Grooming! Our shih tzu Olive always looks great after her “spa day.” Not too hard to get an appointment and plentiful parking behind the shop - which are big conveniences compared to our former groomers in Cameron Village. Highly recommend CPG!

Omg guys. I took my dogs to get groomed and it was AMAZING. She did everything I wanted and the dogs look amazing. I normally get them shaved down in the summer (collie and sheltie) but I just wanted them trimmed and refreshed. They look so beautiful and they smell amazing. Carrie and the staff are really great! I took my shih tzu Fluffy here for her first haircut at 7 months. She is a nervous puppy as we just moved to Raleigh and she's getting used to all the people and other dogs everywhere. But she was playful from the moment we went in and came out looking so happy and playing with everyone. Plus her haircut was fabulous. They also have a nice little selection of treats and supplies. I love City Pet Grooming as does my dog Bobby!!! The owner is amazing and truly cares for all the pets she sees every day. Bobby has been there for grooming as well as day care. When we go for day care he runs to the door and can't wait to get inside and play. He has an awesome time and always comes home tired and happy. I have had Bobby my French Bulldog for two years and I have tried multiple grooming places and this is by far the best I have tried in the area. He got a Christmas bath on December 22nd and this week someone asked me did he get a bath because he smells so good! I am so glad to have City Pet Groomers in my area, they are a great addition to the neighborhood and we will continue go and spread the word to other pet owners. More...

Took my dalmatian there today and she left so happy! She HATES getting her nails trimmed and even the vet couldn't do it, but here they did it and so much more! They even put a de-shedding cream on her for free which was so wonderful. I took my German Shepherd/Australia Cattle Dog mix here for the basic dog groom. I called Cory Pet Grooming and Carrie was able to fit me in the next day, whereas all other groomers I’d called were booked weeks out. For $45 (better price than any other store front groomer I’d checked), Rylee received a wash, nail trim, de-shed, gland expression, a bandana and Carrie even threw in a complimentary cream conditioning. I've been taking my dog Lee here since they opened, first with day care, then grooming, mostly because I lived right around the corner at the time. Now I live in Durham, but I'll still make the drive with both my dogs for grooming here because the service is great and my dogs love it! Hooray I have finally found a groomer! I have tried to take my dog to Petsmart (multiple times) but he was very fearful and aggressively barked causing our appointments to be canceled. But Fonzie, my American Eskimo, had no problem here ! The owner made sure to be cautious with him and made sure he was comfortable. Never seen him so happy to be away from me. His hair was long and matted, but was given the perfect cut and grooming he needed for the upcoming warmer months. I will definitely be returning! The owner was extremely nice and considerate of my two cats. One of my cats has horrible anxiety so the owner took her time drying him instead of using an air dryer (he gets scared of noise so easily).
