Chelsea was absolutely phenomenal! I first met Chelsea at a Bridal expo and immediately fell in love with her work. You could clearly see how passionate she is about her work. So it was a no brainer that I wanted her for our wedding and engagement pictures. Unfortunately, she was already booked for our wedding day but we were able to work with her for our engagement pictures and I can honestly say I was thrilled it worked out. I was a little worried taking our pictures at first because my fiancé and I are two different people when it comes to pictures, I love them and he is super shy. I was worried it would be an awkward encounter but when we hooked up with Chelsea, all of those worries went away. From the first photo to the last, Chelsea made us feel comfortable. She made us feel like it was just my fiancé and I in an open field together with no one else around. We were able to just be ourselves and enjoy each other through the entire process. Sometimes we even forgot we were taking pictures at all :) Chelsea was such a pleasure to work with. It was the best experience I have ever had and I cannot wait to work with her again! I could tell Chelsea was a great pick for taking my engagement pictures not only by looking at her previous work but also by our initial emails and communications. It was clear she cared about knowing my fiance and I as a couple and our history in order for a personalized photo session. She made sure to plan a rain check date and quickly answered any questions I had. During the shoot, she was very laid back and never asked us to be in awkward or unnatural poses. She gave us the right direction and then captured us just being ourselves. I've had a few sessions with Chelsea and could not have been happier with the images we received! The sessions were very laid back and fun and we always felt comfortable with Chelsea. I don't think there was a time during any of our shoots where we weren't having an amazing time. Chelsea does everything in a very timely manner and makes sure that her clients are happy with their images. She has so many creative ideas that make each shoot special and unique. If not for living out of town we would be having sessions with Chelsea all the time.
