Dave was so wonderful to work with in the showroom. He took the time to understand our needs for the carpet and what we were comfortable spending. He never pressured us or tried to upsell.We had the carpets installed today (2 different carpets for 2 different rooms in crazy insane downpours!) and the men that were here working were so nice and friendly (even to my tougher-than-he-looks-and-sounds dog!) We recently utilized Carpet City for some carpeting for our home. We had two custom sized runners made and our staircase carpeted with a runner. The showroom has a large variety of samples to pick from with quality products in a wide price range. Dave was very responsive to offering pricing for the selections we were considering. We made our selection and the scheduling was easy and prompt. When the installers arrived (on time,) they were very pleasant and did a nice job. We are very happy with the finished product. We moved into our Fairfield home 8 months ago and it needed some carpets replaced. I went to the store to see wha they had and picked out a nice carpet for the den off the kitchen which had a huge stain on it. I left my name and the measurements with a sales person there and heard from the owner (Dave) soon after who came to double check my measurements. Turned out that he knew our home very well as he was friends with the previous owner and had installed some of the carpet in the home before. They did such a great job on the den that we decided to have them replace the carpets in our daughter's bedroom and the basement and steps. They accidentally put the wrong carpet down in our daughter's room but quickly and very apologetically fixed it.I would use Carpet City again in the future and would highly recommend Dave and his staff.
