I truly cannot express how WONDERFUL Kristyna was as a photographer. During the WHOLE process -- she worked with me and made me at ease -- from the time of booking to event, to receipt of the photo gallery shortly after.

Let me start by saying, I am a person that is skeptical of meeting people online to contract for services. I usually am strictly a referral person. Not just because sending money for a deposit when you don't know if the person on the other end legitimate (in this world full of scams) is scary, BUT ALSO -- because it is scary to rely on a stranger you don't know to actually perform and appear for a booking when they are stranger. Particularly a photographer intended to capture special moments that you do not want lost. I've had a bad experience in the past where I booked a vendor for an event that didn't show up or refund me. Thankfully, that person was less important than a photographer -- but the situation has given me pause moving forward.

Let me say... Kristyna is 1000000% LEGIT and a true professional. She put my concerns at ease during the interview process (as I was booking her for my daughter's 5th birthday a few days before the BIG event). It was an oversight that I had not booked a photographer earlier -- and I resorted to the internet to find one within the budget I set for the event/service.

Kristyna and I had a very good dialogue, talking about specifics of the party and "Required Pictures" -- and other expectations for schedule on the Day of the Event. THEN, not only was she there EARLY, but she was the SWEETEST and KINDEST person! She was so attentive with my daughter! Did everything we had discussed, positioned herself well for the pictures (i.e., always there but not obstructive at all to guests), and she literally went the extra mile at times -- filling my daughter's water/juice/milk thermos when she became thirsty!!! Definitely ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of a photographer!

THEN THERE ARE THE PICTURES! AMAZING! She captured everything beautifully and I haven't even received the edited copies yet (as I am selecting ones for editing) -- and they are already SPECTACULAR! I can only imagine I will be even more thrilled when I get the final edited copies of the photos I selected! Having reviewed her website in advance of the event, I can see the quality of her final product exceeds that of her competitors that charge similar prices for similar booking requests. She is competitively priced for the work/product she provides, and well worth spending slightly more than others whose work pales in comparison (that I reviewed) to her final work product.

YOU CANNOT GO WRONG BY BOOKING KRISTYNA WITH CARPE DIEM! She is an extraordinary photographer, business woman and person! She was absolutely a DELIGHT to work with!
