The camp counselors are all very nice and caring toward all the dogs. My dog has stayed overnight for 5 consecutive days on one occasion and he we felt comfortable leaving him the the care of the camp bow wow staff. The early morning hours are beneficial for our work schedules. My dog loves coming to camp to play with the other dogs and gets great exercise, which helps him get lots of energy out (especially be cooped up inside in the winter). More...

I can’t say enough wonderful things about camp bow wow pgh north! Everyone who works there is so friendly and eager to help and offer advice. I love that they remember my puppy’s name even after just the first or second visit. Beau (my dog) loves going to “school” to play with his friends! Our young puppy loves going! She has so much energy and my wife and I work so we feel bad during the week that she can’t get enough exercise or socializing. Camp bow wow was a perfect solution. She plays all day and we can watch on the cams. Then she’s tired and relaxed for the next three days let alone for that day. Great way to break up the work week. Our Hank loves Camp Bow Wow and we do too! We enjoy being able to see him on their live cams and appreciate the pictures that were sent during his one on one play time! Everyone is beyond friendly and helpful, and they are very understanding of our concerns about boarding our dogs. After spending some time at Camp Bow Wow, I am confident our dogs will have a wonderful experience there while we travel out of the country. I love that we can bring our own food--even though we feed raw!--and that all special requests are treated as simple things rather than difficulties. I've been taking my dog to bow wow since she was a puppy, it's one of her favorite places. The counselors are amazing! The grooming is always perfect and the prices can't be beat! The staff at North Hills are awesome! They know my dog and greet him by name even if I haven’t met that particular staff person. They listen to concerns that you have and report back at the end of the stay. The best part of Camp Bow Wow is the kindness of the staff toward humans and the pups!

If I could change anything it would be larger play spaces for the dogs with more variety/enrichment areas.

We also recently used the grooming services for the first time and our dog came home tired and fulfilled from her day playing with her pals, and clean and smelling good! It was nice not to have to make a separate grooming appointment with drop off and pick up. More...
