I just had a session with Denisse at Buena Vida Vibes and it was great. It was a great way to start out my Sunday Morning. Denisse is so personable and easy to talk to. Before our session, she asked great questions to get a sense of how I have been feeling. Her space is really welcoming too. When I was receiving Reiki, I felt so relaxed, I think I even fell asleep for a bit. I felt like my Aura was being energized. After the session, there was a two card pull and both tarot cards were on point and resonated so much for me. Stress can take a toll on your body and inner peace. For years I've been carrying a lot of stress and feeling tense. It is very hard for me to relax. At night I struggle with falling asleep. During my first session with Denisse, I felt hopeful that she would help me feel at ease with my inner self. Let me tell you she didn't let me down. It was hard, I could not relax she told me to think of a happy place and I couldn't. She told me to imagine a light shining on me. I couldn't imagine anything, all I could see were dark silhouettes. As she kept going with the session, I was able to relax and finally imagine a light and felt weird, in a good way. I felt tingling but also felt relieved and relaxed. Relaxed, a state of mind in which is hard for me to be in. After my session, I  have been sleeping better. It used to take me over 30 mins to fall asleep. I have been able to fall asleep within the first 10 mins of me laying down in my bed. Denise listens attentively to you during the intake questions. When I first met Denisse, I was in a very low point in my life. I was forced to completely change my life style because of COVID. I developed depression, anxiety and had zero self confidence. I one day decided to seek Reiki and life coaching from Britt Yap, I emailed her asking if she was taking new clients and she politely declined. She then referred me to her assistant Denisse. I was hesitant on trying Reiki because I have never done it before and didn't know much about it. Plus I was set on Britt because I follow her Instagram page. I also didn't know much about Denisse but I decided to trust Britt and schedule a Reiki and life coaching with Denisse. I was very nervous and had no idea what to expect. I have had such a great and uplifting experience with Denisse. Before booking my appointment, I knew I needed a lot of help and I wanted to talk to someone who was able to speak to me freely and give me insight as to what areas I should focus on (unlike my therapist, where everything was very structured all the time). This is exactly what she did for me. I came in during a time where I would involve too many feelings of responsibility for others but soon realized that everyone is in charge of their own lives and reality. I was able to figure out who and what was weighing me down. Also, I was able to FEEL my feelings in front of her without feeling judged or pressured. I left my session full of emotions but also feeling lighter and was confident that my life was never going to be the same after the appointment. I follow Buena Vida Vibes on Instagram and was curious what " Reiki" was. Usually when I'm dealing with extreme anxiety I'll drown myself with work but nothing was helping. After reading a few testimonies I knew I wasn't alone on feeling all the same tension and book appointment ASAP. Apon arriving I was already feeling tense but as soon as Denisse started the session I could already feel more relaxed with opening up. During the my session I felt my upper chest and my legs twitch towards the end I felt more at peace like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I haven't felt myself in YEARS.. after seeing Denisse I feel more calm and able to work on my anxiety. I can't wait for my next reiki session coming up next week. I'm writing a second review to share how Denisse has been recently helping me out. I recently got injured by receiving a accidental kick to the face doing combative sports. Denisse is such a sweet soul! Her genuine heart truly transforms people's lives and brings light into this world. I went for a life coach and reiki session during a time I felt really clouded with ideas and having a sense of feeling lost. She made it really comfortable to open up and focus on priorities. She helped me understand blockages I have in my life. For a person who is in touch with my spiritual side, it felt amazing and sense of relief to have someone that comprehends and understand how being empathetic can impact me internally.  The reiki session was a beautiful healing experience. I felt an out of body experience and truly made me connect to my mind body and soul and higher conscious. To anyone dealing with anxiety or seasonal depression or depression itself I would totally recommend having someone like Denisse guiding you through transformation. I can't even begin to explain what a light Denisse has brought to my life. I first heard of her business from a peer when I was in a group therapy for mental health when I was having a hard time. From the first time I met Denisse I could feel like her soul was ready to help mine for the better good. She sought to really understand what was going on in all parts of my life. Mind you- I've been in treatment for mental health for over 3 years with multiple therapists and Psychiatrists, and honestly she's better than many of them. Additionally, I'm a Counselor in the mental health field and I know that there are a lot of things we don't have answers for and how challenging it can be to get things moving in the right direction. Even with all my knowledge and tools to help my mental health I know, for me personally, it takes more than that. I had experience already doing energy work in a specific type of yoga called brain & body yoga that changed my life so I was very excited and curious to see what reiki could do. From my first session, I could FEEL the energy at my head with so much power and it was a sensation I hadn't felt before. She was really good at explaining how everything worked and making me feel comfortable and relaxed, which is a big thing for me since I'm a ball of anxiety. I had the most beautiful visions of meeting my highest self and finally feeling like things were going to be okay. I bawled like a baby and Denisse explained that this was energy releasing from my body and so we let it be. Since then, I have multiple reiki sessions with her each month and I've also had the pleasure of having a life coaching session. She is just as good as a therapist honestly. I had my first distance reiki session a couple of days ago and it was amazing. I was so impressed on how I could feel the same energy throughout my body as when I've done in person session. I started my spiritual journey last September & I was recently recommended by my sister in law to have a reiki session with Denisse.  I've felt for a while that I was going through a block and I was unsure on how to go about it. I have been stressed and my anxiety has spiked. Upon entering her office, I felt tranquility- I felt I was at peace. I was able to speak to her like I've known her for years! She explained to me how reiki works and I was ready to get started. I don't cry easily & during the meditation, I did let some tears out. I also felt all my life problems melt away. I couldn't be any happier, I found Denisse & finally pushes myself thru this healing process. Second time around coming to Denisse, this time I had both life coaching along with a reiki session after our talk. Coming into her office it's soo cozy and it sets the mood just right. After expressing myself to Denisse some stressful life events, she guided me to exercise some things at home. During my reiki session I felt all my negative energy leave my body. I wasn't sure how my body would react to a first time Reiki session but I was extremely happy with the outcome. Dennise's office feels cozy and comfortable from my first step in. Definitely recommend!Went just for a reiki the first time. Came in feeling all sorts of heaviness and left feeling so much better and helped me figure out the things I could work on and left feeling more at peace without those heavy feelings weighing on me anymore. I found Denisse through mutual friends on Instagram when they would repost items in her shop and her work itself!Being the first time ever hearing about Reiki I obviously had questions like everyone does when hearing the word Reiki, so I decided to DM her on Instagram to get more information about Reiki and also about booking with her. From the start, she responded in less than 24 hours and sent me a brief paragraph describing what was reiki and how it would benefit a person throughout their whole life. Once I read her message, I knew this was something I've been meaning to try out but never found someone so engaged in their own work!When communicating with her I didn't feel like I was just talking to a person about their business, she made me feel comfortable since the first day I reached out. Because of COVID and everything going on, I decided to book a Distance Reiki session with Denisse! And I'm so glad I did I didn't know what to expect as it wasn't going to be in person, but from the moment she called me she explained how Reiki is all about energy and her working on me without having me there physically.I was scared/nervous because I knew I had some type of blockages in me and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get them worked on not being there personally. I didn't have to have Denisse next to me to feel the energy and healing she was working on. While in session I followed her voice and took my deep breathes as she explained to do and relaxed my whole body. Those 45 mins with her I felt like I was in paradise, walking freely, for the first time not feeling so much pressure on my head, shoulders, my body, and just everything! I released everything that was making me over think and affecting me physically and mentally and just let it go with the background music Denisse had playing. I felt like everything was just running down my body and finding it's way out. When releasing some personal stuff I felt a pressure in my eyes I wasn't sure what it was, my eyes started getting watery like if I wanted to cry but my eyes were close so my teardrop just stayed there until my session ended. Once I heard Denisse's voice again I felt a tingling feeling all over my body and as I opened my eyes I felt like a whole brand new person! I had such a good sleep that night, one of my main concerns was over thinking. Since my session with Denisse I haven't even had a moment to stop and catch myself thinking about something more than once. It's like I have something blocking me from over thinking. I feel more at peace with myself and know this is the process to heal myself! My second review I feel so blessed to have met Denisse. After a few reiki sessions with her my meditations have been so much deeper. I'm also having better sleep! That was one of my main problems was blockage of my third eye. a lot of sleepless night and really bad anxiety.    Also Denisse pointed out my crown chakra! Definitely helped me better understand where to improve. The best affirmations suggestions as well! My recent reiki session I had my cards pulled that mentioned about Valuing my self worth and my motivation fairy card. Advice I needed to read at the moment! I had my first life coaching/Reiki session and I'm honestly still mind blown by the wholeExperience. My cousin had mention that she was going and I started to do my own researched and was pretty interested in experiencing it myself.  I feel like lately I've been having a hard time and wanted to see if it would help me.When I first went in I was nervous and even felt anxious but as soon as I started to talk to Denise she made me feel really comfortable and I was able to open up and talk to her about everything things I haven't been able to tell anyone else She gave me great advice also.During the reiki session I started to feel a tingling sensation on my face and it moved to the back of my head Ans throughout my body I instantly started to see a light and even felt this warm sensation throughout my body. Denise was supper professional and welcoming. My first thought about Reiki was this is all superstitious, so I made my sister go first and once she told me her experience I was all in. I highly recommend people who have a lot their plate or been through traumatic things in their life. It was such a good awakening for me. This was my first reiki and life coaching session, ever. Like everyone I was nervous, didn't know what to expect. Those feelings immediately went away when I met Denisse she has such great energy and comfort about her. It felt like I knew her for years.Life coaching session I believe is a must! She started off with this session which helped me loosen up and prepare for the reiki. I've had therapy before but this was so different I loved the fact that she is latina so I felt like it was easier to connect with her. She understood my background completely and gave me a direct path on what I can improve.Reiki session. I was completely relaxed, I felt a lot of tingling all over my body, I saw waves of light and felt like I was being held down to the bed but not in a bad way. Before this session I hadn't heard of reiki so I was a little nervous coming in. However, Denisse was very informative and helped me feel comfortable. With everything going on right now, I've been feeling super stressed and anxious. But this session has left me feeling light and calm. Denisse has been working with me and my family for a few months now. She has helped my mother relax for her surgery that she had in August and has continued working with her after and she has been able to reduce my mother's anxiety and put her at ease. Denisse has worked with my brother who doesn't like accepting any help from anyone but Denisse has been able to work with him and give him the tools to feel confident in himself. Denisse has also been working with me and has been helping keep me sane. My anxiety has gone down, my energy has gone up, my relationships with people around me have improved. I feel like I have been growing spiritually and my mindset is completely different.
