Saw Mike Nash in a solo, unplugged sort of concert at the wonderful BAC venue. Simply fantastic. Mike Nash doesn't know it yet, but this solo format is the one at which he excels. An intimate night of music.The Performance Hall at the Brewery Arts Center is the epitome of intimate venues. Â Comfortably holding around 250 people in a former church, the seating and sound were perfect for a night of acoustic music. Our second time to the venue, we once again were entertained by former Paul McCartney and Wings guitarist Laurence Juber. Â This time he was joined by Grammy award winning ukulele player Daniel Ho. Â What a treat to listen to 2 hours of incredible music. Â Being a musician, I am at awe listening to what Laurence can do on an acoustic guitar. Â Playing tunes from the 30's to Beatles, Wings and even a Who song, what a treat it was to see and hear so much sound from a single guitar. Â Not to be outdone, Daniel Ho was equal to the task on the 2 ukes he had on stage. Â Again, incredible what can come out of a tiny instrument in the hands of a true artist.If you have a chance to see either of these musicians, do it! Â Seeing them in such a small venue only added to the acoustic magic of the evening. Â A great place to see acts and very reasonable compared to the ever rising ticket prices of shows at bigger venues (our tickets were $25/ea). Â There's plenty of lot and street parking around the Center and super easy to get to. Looking forward to our next visit! More...

I attended two of the free outdoor summer music shows in 2019. This is my only experience here. While there we visited the buildings that were open and enjoyed the art. The grounds were clean and nice. I will now be keeping an eye out for events at the Carson City Brewery Arts Center. More...
