Very unprofessional. She gave misleading directions to her shop, so when I finally, accidentally, found the building, she canceled the appointment saying that this wasn't going to work out. I called and called to ask for clarification on the directions, but she wouldn't answer the phone or texts. Leslie, I think that this is so sad you would try to make this to be my fault. You have consistently cancelled or shown up late to your previously scheduled appointments. You have came for a consultation prior so you knew where to find me. I sent those instructions, that everyone else seems to find very helpful in finding me, to confirm you’d be coming and to ensure there would be no mishaps again. I gave you ample time to come to your scheduled appointment. Your appointment was at 11am. I left at 11:20. I cannot be late for my later guests because you have consistently been disrespectful of my time. My exact text to you was, “Hi Leslie, I’m sorry but this just doesn’t seem like it going to work out for us. You have been here before for a consultation. You have consistently cancelled consultations beforehand. Today being more than fifteen minutes late, I cannot afford to keep taking away time from my clients to put you on my book. I have turned away clients that want to be here. You have expressed apprehension in the past despite finding me through Halo Couture. I regret to inform you that I can no longer book you on my schedule.” You then tried arguing with me about it and now trying to leave a bad review when you haven’t even been able to make it to an actual service appointment. This definitely won’t work out and I wish you luck finding a hairstylist in the future. I find your review and behavior to be insulting and unfortunate. Why would I give you misleading directions if you’ve been to the establishment prior for a consultation…I’m sorry that you don’t seem to understand I’m a small business and have to keep time accordingly for the rest of my guests..

I’ve been getting my hair done by Rachel for a couple of years now and she’s absolutely wonderful! She’s so friendly and easy to talk to, and the salon atmosphere is great. Rachel has always done such a beautiful job with my hair. Just recently, I’ve begun the transition to blonde (from very dark brown hair) and Rachel’s done such a great job and I am so happy! She’s also done extensions for me before and they looked seamless and lovely as well. I would definitely recommend her to anyone! She’s easy to get ahold of and gives great suggestions.
