It all started back in early Dec 2018 when I first found Lisa on social media. At the time we've already been engaged a few months and we plan to get married in 2019 but didn't have a firm date yet. So I basically signed the contract to hire Lisa as my wedding planner without a wedding date. Haha, that tells you how much I trust and believe in her after only a few phone calls and emails.To me, a good wedding planner is not someone who has hundreds of good reviews on Yelp or thousands followers on Instagram. I want someone who is dedicated, hands-on and organized, and Lisa is all! I can't tell you how many times Lisa replied my email past midnight or answer my questions/concerns within a short period of time. I appreciate her for going above and beyond for my requests and wishes. There were many times that I felt stressed and Lisa was there to guide me.We ended up deciding to get married on 5/5/19 with less than 5 months to plan a wedding for 100 people. I had the vision of what I want my big day to look like but Lisa is the one to put it together. I had so much fun planning with her during the process and enjoyed every little bit of it. I can't express how much we appreciate Lisa for planning such a wonderful wedding for us, that till this day people are still talking about our wedding.Overall, I highly recommend Lisa to all the brides and grooms out there! My husband and I decided to prepare the wedding within a short period of time so it's really a challenge for any wedding planner. Gladly and luckily we chose Lisa and her team for our big day. Lisa is so good at her job: responsive, kind, patient, well-organized and really delicate on all things for a wedding even a tiny detail. She has great and elegant taste on design, decoration and color matching and gave us many useful suggestions. One thing I need to mention is she is really responsible for all works needs to be done and mostly do it herself instead of assigning jobs to others that may not be excellent. PLEASE READ MY REVIEW before choosing a wedding planner. When we were searching for our wedding planner, I was looking for someone who knows people from the wedding service industry very well, able to respond email/text promptly and someone who's married. If your wedding planner is not married, she/he doesn't understand how you feel like and what you are concerned about. Lisa already knew what we were worried about, was able to advise us, and she knew what vendors would be best for our budget. I can't thank you enough! Lisa was really amazing from start to finish! She has a great taste and was very professional, responsible, and super reliable. She took care of everything as we expected she would but she also was adaptable, when the odd little thing went wrong, to the point that we didn't even know until afterwards. She went above and beyond by even going to the flower market together with our florist, to make sure that we got the freshest and most pretty flowers to display on our wedding day! I am very grateful that Lisa and her team gave us a very special wedding in SF. It was only one month before we decided to get married. We didn’t have much time to plan everything and we were not in the United States at that time. Before we contacted Lisa, we didn’t have any expectation towards this destination wedding and we even didn’t think we could be able to make it. It was Lisa made it happen!! We were so lucky to find her. Lisa accompanied me found the perfect wedding dress that looked great on me, she designed and created a gorgeous bridal bouquet and boutonnieres for my kids and my husband. The timeline she created was great as well. We had a chance to take wedding photos at several famous spots in San Francisco. It was just such a perfect day! My friend felt so grateful to have the opportunity to work with Lisa and Blooming Wed. Lisa and her team were extremely professional and we all had a great time! They went above and beyond the call of duty. We love the decorations, linen, flowers, etc. for the ceremony and reception, especially the flowers and bouquets, lighting and candles arrangements around the room! Lisa did such an excellent job planning our wedding. She is very detail-oriented and the timeline she planned was very effective. With that well-planned timeline, everything was on track on that day and it just went so smoothly...I couldn't have picked a better wedding planning company.She knew the flow of the wedding and she knew what to do to make a wedding look elegant and run flawlessly. We planned to have a tea ceremony in the bridal room. After Lisa arrived, she checked the room but found there was no table and chairs for the tea ceremony. She talked with the hotel manager initiatively and asked for an elegant table and two sofas delivered to my bridal room. She even brought a flower with a vase on the table, which was a great touch to our tea ceremony and our photos. With her help, our tea ceremony was conducted on time and it was a very touching moment for us and our parents. Besides, she looked for the best spot for our first look spot, cued DJ, helped with group photos, moved guest book and gifts to reception room and so much more. She not only did all her job, she also helped other vendors. She put all the boutonnieres on groomsmen. She picked up all the petals on the grass after the ceremony. She helped with the breakdown and collected trash that was left on the ceremony and reception. She went above and beyond her job. We had a great wedding, our parents and friends were all very happy. I normally don't write reviews but Lisa definitely deserves a raving one: she's a total life saver! Wedding planning could be scary and hectic, especially if you are on a budget. I initially contacted Lisa for consultation (FREE!) and was seriously impressed by her deep industry knowledge and connections, as well as her attention to details. She is so sweet, kind and also such a go getter. I hired Lisa to be our day-of coordinator (DOC) and all I did was to share a list of items I needed to get done on our wedding day and went over the list with her over the phone. We did not get to meet up beforehand, nor we needed to! On the big day, Lisa showed up early, organized everything perfectly, checked off all the items on my list, even handled quite a few crisis on my behalf! She functioned much more than a DOC and exceeded my expectations. Our wedding couldn't be more perfect, thanks to Lisa and her superb coordinations amongst various of vendors. I met Lisa over a friend's wedding last Spring, and hired her as my wedding planner in October. This is the best decision I've ever made for my wedding! Lisa is not only super on top of every single meetings, but also very responsive. I was even sometimes able to reach out to her at midnight. Wedding planning can be very stressful and frustrating when dealing with a full time job and multiple vendors at the same time. Lisa made it super easy for me by creating a detailed deadline with specific dates and count-downs, she also kept me posted every step of the way at each important date and meeting. I remembered I've encountered several conflicts with vendor's scheduling and payment issues, Lisa showed incredible people skills and efficient communication as a third party professional between me and my vendors that made sure all my needs are met and always fought for my greatest benefits! I can't imagine how was I able to hold a 75 ppl wedding without her! Super on task, detail-oriented, awesome communication skills and most importantly caring, Lisa is a fabulous listener she always placed my needs first, her team is also amazing and professional! From searching venues to getting top-notch vendors, Lisa has been so helpful in our wedding planning process. I told her we'd wanted to get married in a church in the bay area, and she immediately recommended us several churches with different styles and price points, and proceeded to tell us what it would feel like to get married in each one. Since she had done weddings in those churches, her insights and suggestions were very valuable. We finally chose to get married at Valley Presbyterian Church on 12/17/17. The redwood forest behind the big window in the church truly gave the wedding a vibe of peace and solemnity. The wedding turned out to be the wedding I'd always dreamt of. WoW! Now look back the whole shooting,it was a very unforgettable experience! Lisa is a nice girl.When I try on my wedding dress and jewelry ,she gave me a lot of advice . Lisa takes utmost care with all her clients and designs incredible wedding events like no one else I have ever seen. She gave me advice about the clothes that I should wear, different beautiful locations for a photo shoot, and ended up producing unbelievable photographs to commemorate the special occasion.
