Highly enjoyed the outdoor Ambiance at this little espresso stand. The ladies were absolutely kind and fun to talk with. It was nice that they had vegan options as well. However I must say the vegan cookie with lemon flavored cream was extremely too sweet for my taste buds which unfortunately I couldn't finish. But the next time my wife and I returned to Bainbridge we will pay this place another visit for some delicious beverages! More...

We ordered two of the wedding cake flavors and three of the seasonal cake flavors for our wedding. They all tasted AMAZING. I received compliments all day and the whole year afterwards. It was the only wedding I have been to where the guests actually formed a line for the cakes, and went back for seconds! Not a single piece was left by the end of the hour. I tasted sample cakes from Central Market, Bella Bella Cupcakes, and McGavin's, and Blackbird was beyond comparison. I have very high standards for cakes and these surpassed my expectations. And, they were beautiful! I would highly recommend Blackbird's cakes for your own wedding or event, especially since the quality is 10x greater than any other Kitsap County wedding cake bakeries for practically THE SAME PRICE. Blackbird is a tiny bit more expensive, but I would have paid more if I needed to. Hands down best cakes in Kitsap! More...

My sister and I stopped in here around 4pm for a late lunch, and I was very happy to find some (although few) vegan options. I got the green chili and white bean soup, she got pesto quiche, and we got the vegan chocolate applesauce teabread to share. Service was very quick, staff was friendly, and food was good. They do take credit card (contrary to what is in the description), and they have a water spout in the corner to fill your glass/water bottle, making it a very convenient spot to stop for a snack or a meal when exploring Bainbridge Island.
