Got my first ever tattoo here ! The space is very chill and not intimidating, Q (who tattooed me) and his coworker clearly have been tattooing for a long time and can do almost any design you want. The design process was really smooth, he uploaded my reference photo to trace and put it on photoshop where finals details were made. Ato did such a good job with my piece. I was a walk-in but he took me in right away and quoted me at $250. For the amount of work that he did and his attention to detail,  I was honestly willing to pay more. So for the quality work that you get, the prices are definitely fair. The place is spacious and clean so sanitary issues are not a problem. I highly recommend this place. And it made my trip to New York even more memorable! Thank you so much Ato! This was my third visit and We always leave satisfied. We all went in for either a nose piercing or to change our stud piercing into a hoop. They are very nice and professional. Let me start off by saying I love my tattoo courtesy of Big Mike. He did a great job and I hope to be back again. Now, I was a walk-in but I had emailed with them several times regarding price and availability. I appreciate that they told me to call before coming in (which I did) because I didn't want to go in vain. Big Mike is super nice, chill and very easy to talk to. I'm a teacher and he's a soon to be art teacher so we bonded over that. Really cool guy and very patient and understanding. Mike took the time to search for fonts that resembled what I wanted and then trying out different sizes, never once rushing the process which I appreciated. Once the tattoo outline was placed on my skin, he again asked me if the placement was what I wanted and size, again thanks for doing that.Overall, loved my experience here, have & will continue to recommend. Super clean, friendly artists, in & out in 30 mins. Everyone at the shop is extremely professional and make you feel at ease immediately.  While my daughter was getting a coverup tattoo,  I finally decided to get my flat ear piercing. Price was amazing. They don't try to sell you expensive jewelry that most of the time ends up being the bulk of your cost. My daughter's tattoo came put beautiful. Semi-spontaneously decided to get my first tattoo while visiting the city, so my friend and I googled the closest shop that does walk-ins (and had good reviews) and set out for the adventure. Almost walked past the narrow stairway entrance, which was dark and kind of creepy in a cool way, but the shop itself was relaxed and had a living room vibe to it. It was very clean from entrance to the chair I sat in. Being my first tattoo, I was excited because I felt like a badass but also nervous because I'm a commitment-phobe. Big Mike did my tattoo -- a tiny little thing in Arabic on my inner bicep. He was patient as I overthought everything on size and placement and style. He's very knowledgeable and gave good advice on care and concerns that helped keep me cool. The tattoo itself only took 15 minutes max, but we got to talking and ended up hanging out for almost 2 hours. Mike is a really cool dude with amazing stories and is really kind and wise. I had such an amazing experience here! I went in as a walk in and called a little ahead of time. At first I was super nervous. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with my plan of getting my first tattoo, even though I trained all the way from Boston on vacation from Seattle. However, everyone was super friendly and supportive!I wanted to get coordinates going down along my outer ankle. I was mostly nervous because I'm very particular about things being clean and crisp, basically perfection. And pretty much what I wanted was very small, so any mess up at all would be very noticeable. Edwin and Mike both helped me sized it to what I wanted, which took 6-7 tries. They're so patient and extremely understanding, they want you to love it! Big Mike tattooed me and he was wonderful. He made me feel super comfortable and at ease, I knew I could trust him. He hasn't done many tiny tattoos, but he did mine beautifully and perfectly! The line work was super clean and crisp, everything was exact like it came out of a printer. Also, as a person, he is a cool guy to talk to! I ended up talking with all the artists that were there, and I can tell that everyone here is very serious about their reputation. Went here with my friend to get HER tattoo. So this review is solely based on her experience as well as mine in terms of service. The place is upstairs with creepy neon lights and signs that I actually really enjoyed... in a weird way. It was like entering a haunted stairway, which could be freaking exciting. I entered and saw this huge waiting area, as well as glass counters and tattoo art everywhere.You simply have to tell your name and that you have an appointment waiting for you, so I assume you need to make reservations before hand. Tattoos range from $80-$$$. You need to show them the picture/ tattoo you are using. They also give you a size reference before actually stenciling it onto you. As my friend and I entered, of course my friend was scared, so I held her hand. It was a cool experience and very chill corner. I saw the tattoo artist's work all around his station, and it was very mesmerizing. My friend mentioned that it didn't hurt at first until the tattoo got closer to her bones. After she was done, she gave the tattoo artist a tip. The artist also gave suggestions of what to do after the tattoo was given. My wife and I were visiting New York for our anniversary. We had gotten consultations and stopped by numerous tattoo shops across Manhattan and various New York Burroughs. Big Bang Ink in Brooklyn was our choice and we couldn't be happier that we went to Big Bang Ink. Q was extremely funny, nice, personable, and set us up to get our ink done by Joseph. Joseph did a beautiful job on kickstarting my floral sleeve with a set of huge, gorgeous roses. He checked in with me often, made sure I was comfortable, and above all happy with the direction my tattoo was going in each step of the way. He's also incredibly knowledgeable (he was always correcting as he went to account for my sensitive skin), and was happy to answer any of my questions as we went. The other people in the shop were funny and friendly too, and the vibe was very relaxed (very different from most of my experiences). I can't wait to get my next piece here! I went in yesterday to get a memorial tattoo for my Granny and was not disappointed. I showed JP, the tattoo artist who I wanted and he drawer out the design a couple of times until I was satisfied. A friend and I were planning on getting matching tattoos while my boyfriend and i are visiting from LA and we wanted to find a place with reasonable pricing. Big Bang ink seemed very promising so we reserved a spot beforehand. My boyfriend actually joined us so all three of us could get tattooed and needless to say, the experience was exceptional. Grey did a great job with making sure we were completely satisfied with the design, size and placement before starting. The results went above and beyond my expectations and he was very reassuring about the pain level (first tattoo experience lol). All 3 of us were incredibly happy with how our tattoos turned out. Initially we were kinda hesitant about paying more than the shop minimum because we're broke college students lmao but it was definitely worth it. Friendly and accommodating staff, great execution. Was welcomed Immediately thru the door with great Customer  service. Sam did my Roman Numeral Tattoo..& did an amazing neat Job! ..told him what I wanted ..he drew up a sketch and went to work. I was visiting NYC and decided on the spur of the moment to get a tattoo I had been thinking about for over a year. It took a few days of wandering before I found Sam at Big Bang Ink. Her original price quote was higher than I had wanted, but once I told her my price range, she was able to slightly adapt the design and size so that I wouldn't be over budget. She gave great advice about placement and simplifying the design without oversimplifying (which is a hard line to walk). I was in and out within 30 minutes and I'm still loving the tattoo now (6 months later)!! long story short, Sam was accommodating while still providing quality work, and friendly throughout the whole process (it didn't hurt that I was visiting from her home town of Houston, small world!)
