The staff at Beauty Redefined are experts in their field. I have been to many beauty institutions, including California Skin Institute (CSI) across the street, and I have received better results for the same treatments at a fraction of the cost at Beauty Redefined. Their staff is full of knowledgeable, kind and helpful people. I truly feel they are most interested in providing me with the right treatments for my skin type and age. I have to say this is the best Drs. office I've been to for Botox and fillers. I've been using these products for the last 20 years and started with Dawn when she first opened the office. Love love love this place! I typically see Lita and Annabel when I come, and I've had a super pleasant time each time I've come. Annabel is super caring of your comfort during the procedure and she doesn't make it feel awkward at all! Lita is always helpful when I ask (so many) questions, but never makes me feel like a bother. I'll continue coming here, and really do recommend it to others! I come here for laser hair removal and it's made a HUGE difference! Long overdue review...I moved to San Jose two years ago and by mere chance discovered Beauty Refined. At the time, I wanted to get a treatment called Micro-needling done (for my acne scars) and so I went on a hunt for a local spot that provided it. A little internet search and BINGO...found this gem! I called and booked a consultation, which they fit me in surprisingly fast (some places don't have enough practioners and it can take WEEKS!) and over the phone the receptionist Lita were super sweet & friendly! For a medi-spa I was impressed with how accommodating, understanding, patient, and kind they were in answering my ALL my questions and calming my nerves! They let me know exactly what to expect- told me the best treatment for me (which was not the most expensive- which I appreciated them not trying to up-sell me) and I felt confident in going forward. Fast-forward to today, two years later...I've had 3 micro-needling treatments done. My skin is looking FABULOUS and I've even got a few fillers placed as well. They truly earned my trust and my business. Every time I go in, they already know me by name and it feels more like a "girl catch-up" then a medical procedure office, all while remaining very professional. Maybe I'm a sucker for creature comforts but even the coffee, tea, and candy provided put a smile on my face! I always look forward to going in a bit before my appointment and sipping on some coffee before they take me back to be seen. On a logistical level, I've had both Dr. Rappaport and Meghan do my Micro-needling. They both pay close attention to detail, they ask clarifying questions so that you get EXACTLY what you're wanting, and are sterile. From start to finish, the process is seamless. I went in for some laser hair removal after some successful but quite painful experiences elsewhere. I was very pleasantly surprised. When the level got the least bit wince-worthy the technician could instantly dial down the power. The procedure using the Soprano ice laser was very quick. All staff were professional and friendly. I know, another review! I think I've reviewed this place like three times already. And I'm going to give another five star review. Dr. Kim Rappaport  is the best!she always gives my Botox and my fillers a really natural look-none of that frozen face stuff. Plus, I just love talking to her. We always have the best time. I'm getting married in April and in March we are going to do the whole shebang-laser, filler, Botox-and I can't wait because I know she'll make me look fabulous! I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Rappaport! She is professional, honest, kind, and very fun to chat with. I've been getting my IPL treatments done by Dr. Rappaport and all I can say is the results are phenomenal! My poor sensitive skin suffers from Rosacea so she was able to zap away about 1/4 of my red and brown spots after 2 treatments. The procedure was bearable for me, and wasn't as painful as I thought. Fortunately, I don't have horrible side effects like most people complaining that IPL burned half their face off. My search for a reasonably priced Med spa that can give me amazing results without breaking the bank is finally over. $200 for an IPL session is a reasonable price compared to other med spas I've consulted with. Out of all the med spas I have been to, Beauty Redefined has offered the best experience and results by far! I have received laser and Botox here, both services performed by Meghan. She  listened attentively to my concerns, which had arisen as a result of my last Botox experience at a different med spa, and executed everything beautifully! It has been a week now and I am beyond satisfied with the results! I really appreciate how she took the time to check in with me to make sure that I was doing okay during my services and has followed up to check in on the results too! All of the staff that I have met here are awesome. Tina at the front desk was super helpful during my most recent visit and clarified some things for me regarding my Brilliant Distinctions account. Dawn and Sara are amazing. Everything is much more affordable than anywhere else. They are both so sweet and great at their jobs. I've been going for 7 years! I must say. Anytime I see a one star review on a business I know well.. I always go down the rabbit hole with that reviewers, reviews. Well one lady in particular has over 50% one star reviews. I usually take that to mean that the person is quite difficult. Also, upon reading 2 of her one star reviews were horribly rac$it. In one she talks about the staff being "fresh off the boat" in another she talks about "illegals" working there. She seems like an entitled jerk. For years, I've had Botox shots to prevent migraines. I travel a lot and so have ended up going to different places, which I sadly learned is a mistake. I ended up spending months with ill-placed shots causing inability to have any expression in my eyebrows, or worse, a droopy eyelid. Not here. I can't say enough great things about this place. I've been going to see Sara for a little over two years now. She's fast, sweet, explains everything she's doing really well and just overall fantastic. I love how comfortable she makes me feel. Diana at the front desk is also really sweet and helpful.
