I believe that change and healing is possible for everyone, and I enjoy joining with people on their journey in realizing their full potential, drawing on individual strengths. When life gets overwhelming, I provide a safe and collaborative environment to assist you in navigating life's changes and finding balance. I have worked in the behavioral health field for almost 20 years, and I am licensed to practice counseling in the state of Pennsylvania, working with children, adolescents and adults in private practice.
I believe in the power of mind-body connection and I incorporate many wellness components in the practice. I work from an approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but tailor this work to meet each individual need. I also include in my practice, approaches such as Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Person Centered, Humanistic, and Solution-based therapy.
My areas of focus are wellness, adolescent issues, anxiety and depression, stress managements, life transitions, chronic pain, trauma/ PTSD, women's issues, to name a few. I have extensive experience in working with adolescent issues in individual therapy, schools, and foster care and adoptive settings as well.
