What do you love most about your job?
Getting to share the love of music and pass that on to our students. I love the atmosphere of support and all the positive vibes, we’re a judgement and bully-free school.
What inspired you to start your own business?
AustinMusic school was created during the national Covid pandemic to help support the local music community and share our vast experience in performance and music education with students online.
We know students and their families may be struggling financially due to the economic crisis in 2020, and want to offer lessons at an affordable rate in order to keep the music alive and provide both kids and adults with a healthy outlet for creative expression through music. Now is the time to Focus on self-care, and Music lessons are the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to the gift of learning a new instruments or improving your musical skills!

We make music lessons fun, and it’s all about customizing the lessons to fit each individual student’s goals and level of play.
Austin Music School incorporates fair pay for our educators — something you won’t come across everywhere. Our school is one of of the highest-paying music schools in the state with highly qualified and professional teachers; some touring musicians, college professors, and even doctors of music!
And our music teachers love to teach. We only hire professional musicians who work well teaching both adults and children, with a solid education background and a passion for passing on the love of music.

Remote lessons are currently what we offer, our teachers are trained to give virtual lessons over video conferencing platforms like zoom, FaceTime, and Skype. We fully embraced social distancing, and our teachers are qualified and skilled at making online lessons feel just like in-person lessons.
Although we will offer in person lessons when our teachers feel comfortable, right now all of our services are offered remotely.
We do not sacrifice ANY quality in our services offered online, in fact in many ways online lessons have provided our students and families more convenience and flexibility in their daily lives.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Since we are offering only remote lessons, Austin Music School guarantees both our students and teaching staff are 100% safe and have zero risk of spreading Covid-19.
Trumpet lessons

You get a a college-level education, at any age. We welcome true beginners and encourage everyone to learn an entirely new instrument to expand their creative, motor and basic reading skills.
