Please don't move, Apna Punjab!  We just discovered you tonight and it was the greatest discovery!  The Saag Paneer was fabulous, and medium spice heat level meant medium.  I really appreciate that.  My husband asked for his dish to be hot spice level and when ordering online we left a note to really, really make it hot.  No other restaurant has come through with that request... but you did.  THANK YOU!  I'm sad to hear you are moving too far away for us to go to for takeout coming the fall.  Guess we will have to order from you as often as possible until then.  Unless you change your mind and stay.  Yeah?  You should just stay.  Yep.  You should stay. We have been ordering takeout here for a couple of years now. We always get the same two dishes..chicken saag & chicken korma. I would love to try other things but these dishes are consistently excellent! I plan to try butter, tandoori chicken, rogan josh...etc but I can't get over how good the korma is. The staff is courteous and food is ready when they say it will be. The only reason I took off a star is for the one time we went for the lunch buffet, the food available was just not as tasty. Maybe it was leftover from dinner? In any case, that didn't stop us so now we just order for takeout lol. They give good portion sizes so we always have some leftover for lunch...it tastes even better warmed up the next day! More...

After being timid about trying Indian food, I'm so happy we came to Apna Punjab. The chicken tikka masala was recommended to us by one of the servers and it was so delicious! Chicken was cooked perfectly and the garlic naan was out of this world. Welcoming and warm staff, the owner Jay was so nice and adjusted our dishes to the perfect spice level. We thought this place was fantastic for an Indian buffet, only wish it were closer to us! We drove all the way from Rhode Island because there is a lack of good Indian buffet food here. The buffet had a great array of choices, most everything we tried was tasty. Good vegetarian options. Naan bread was absolutely fabulous, top notch. I would say that the food was a little heavier than some might like, i.e. more ghee in the gravies, but it was very enjoyable for us. I have eaten here several times and it is always AMAZING!!!  If you have never had Indian food ask for Jay and he will walk you through the menu and make sure you get exactly the right meal.  He even made a special dish for my picky 9-12 year olds that have them asking when we can come back.  The Ghobi  Manchurian might be the best thing I have ever tasted.  Truly a hidden gem! I had such a fun time here with my mom. The place was super clean and they had the buffet out. dyvi ( Dee) was our server and she couldn't have been more kind. There was no nan bread at the serving station so we asked about it, and she kindly gave us fresh nann at our table. I was in the mood for spicy and boy do they deliver! My mom loved her mango Lassy with vodka, and I enjoyed my Tajik mahal. Definitely one of my favourite spots for Indian food in the area. Authentic, the goat especially is on point. Not too expensive, staff is super friendly also. Got the Goat Vindaloo which was just as good as expected, and my wife got some kind of mixed meat biryani, which she enjoyed. Even converted an Indian novice! The people running this operation are just beyond wonderful, matching how great the food is. Came for lunch buffet with my boo. The interior is spacious with comfy booth chairs. Very clean. Wait staff is very attentive and friendly. I like that there is a flat screen with Bollywood films playing in the background. The lunch buffet has a pretty diverse spread. My favorite couple things were the spinach chicken, Dahl, and the peas tikka masala. Their naan was ok. I prefer mine fluffier (Pakistani style) but their rice with carroway seeds was really good and enhanced all the above dishes. We've been to this restaurant multiple times now and have recommended it to everyone for the amazing food and service that it has to offer. We even catered from here for a party of 50 people, and Jay along with his brother did an unbelievable job in preparing more than enough quantity of food, and the quality was beyond anyone's expectations. We had family visiting from Punjab and they couldn't believe how yummy the food was. Jay and his brother were very accommodating in our requests and made sure the catering was delivered as promised.
