Working with Andy was a dream. My boyfriend and I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Andy in the North End, where he took photographs of us simply enjoying the sights and sounds of Boston - and each other's company. His photographs are unbelievably stunning and completely authentic; we'll cherish them forever. More...

Working with Andy on a recent photo shoot was an absolute pleasure. Not only does he have a great eye, he was quick to make me comfortable in front of the camera right from the start. Not only was the shoot easy going, it was also a whole lot of fun. I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out. I highly recommend Andy for any photography needs. More...

I had the immense pleasure of having Andy photograph me for my headshot. He made me feel totally as ease and confident. The collection of images he created encapsulate who I am at this point in life and I will treasure them always. Andy has a gifted eye and a delightful soul. More...

What an awesome experience this was! Andy made it all seem effortless and easy. The next thing I know we'd spent over 2 hours shooting and the result was, well, nothing short of amazing. A friend at the gym even suggested this morning I send some sample pics to fitness magazines -- saying they would be thrilled to publish them. Thanks for the potential new career opportunities, Andy Riley! More...

I have double the pleasure because I work with Andy on a day to day basis AND he recently spent some time with my family doing some "Day in the Life" photos of us. I've known and worked with quite a few photographers and I can say without a doubt that he is one of the most talented, especially in regards to family photography. Our experience was awesome. He made us all feel so comfortable. Even my very camera shy husband. My daughter loved him immediately and is still asking about it. I know my family will be enjoying this photos for the rest of our lives. They are so very special. I just might be Andy's biggest fan. I could go on and on but I'll stop here...for now :-) More...

I wish I could give 500 stars. My family recently had the privilege to spend an afternoon with Andy while he captured the moments of our daily life. Andy is one of the warmest, most engaging people I know and he is an incredible artist and photographer. I’m convinced he can capture just about anything with his camera and turn the ordinary into something remarkable. Things that seemed insignificant at the time have been transformed into a treasure that I will cherish for years to come. Andy, we're so grateful for your talent. Thank you for our story. More...

Q&As

Making a great connection with your photographer is so important and is the foundation of any great photo. I realize that for most people, being in front of the camera is not easy, and I also know great photos are a gift you give to the photographer. I connect with people by being a little silly, letting my guard down, and asking questions about what they love.

What's your favorite dance move? Honestly though... I like to put people at ease and start with some basic conversation so I can learn about them and why they are looking for a photographer. I share how I typically work and ask them questions about what they want. We'll know fairly soon if things are a good fit and can go from there.

I love helping people celebrate life in big and small ways. I love capturing details, and side glances. I love when people are silly and when they get surprised. I love showing people - through photography - how special they are.

My daughter Chelsea. She's a total ham and I love how she experiences the world. I know I can't stop her from growing up, but with a great photo, I can remember and celebrate the person she is today.

I like to think we choose each other. If it's meant to be, it will be awesome.
