I specialize in portraiture and real estate photography as a company but personally am always on the hunt for the perfect landscape shot.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Knowing your client. There is no "best way" or "one way" to shoot anything. Knowing your clients needs and expectations as well as their personality is the most important way to get to the great photograph. If you simply point and shoot you will never wow your client.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The simple questions of course would be what is the purpose of your shoot and what do you expect to get across with the photos? Most of the time a client can't actually answer the questions which is why you need to converse with your client. They will answer any questions you have without actually giving you answers. Conversation and direction during the shoot is just as and possibly more important than pre shoot Q&As.
What do you love most about your job?
The best part of the job is blowing my clients away at the end. They have an idea of what the photos might look like but when I put my artistic spin on the shoot the final photos are jaw dropping.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In photography you really don't have a choice. It is an art and like other arts each artist has to have the freedom to use their own techniques. You just can't do that working for someone.
Why should our clients choose you?
For me, photography is still a passionate hobby so I tend to take my time and perfect the results without actually charging the market rate. I've been told that I am giving away too much but, I would rather ensure photography services are easily accessible for everyone on any budget. That just builds a solid client base and makes more people happy and that should be the intention for any artist.
