To start, I could go on and on with accolades for Alpha K9 Training!!!
My just over a year old pup has given me a run for my money (and sanity) over the last 6+ months as she developed intense alpha behaviors that came out in various less than ideal behaviors (aggression, triggered by other dogs & humans so we couldn't go for walks, terrible in the car with barking and wanting to get at everything outside, etc).
I spent a pretty penny on training with another company where they worked with her on commands like sit and down but did not work with her on the root of our problems. I had begun to lose hope in having a normal life with my pup (we couldn't leave the house and she was running the show there!), and despite loving her so deeply, I was wondering if I was going to be able to keep her with the aggression and dominance she was exhibiting. This broke my heart.
Everything changed when I was put in contact with Michelle and Alpha K9 Training. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew this was going to be a different experience, and I began to have my hope restored. Michelle listened to me, for a full 45 minutes (!), as I discussed the issues we were having and even during the first call, she gave me pointers on things we could work on right away to combat the difficulties that had been running my household for quite some time.
Over the next 3 or so weeks, Michelle and Jonathan worked with Andi, always giving updates and filling me in on her progress. As a dog mom, this was incredibly reassuring and comforting, I cannot stress enough how great it was to know how she was doing (and to SEE it on video)!
As it turned out, Andi needed a lot of work to tackle her alpha dominance and her protective tendencies. Michelle and Jonathan never wavered in their confidence that Andi Girl would improve, and they never gave up on her. Since returning home, Andi is doing SO MUCH BETTER, and I am too! Since her dominance was deep rooted, it will take time for her and I to keep working together to build the balanced relationship we need to have lifelong success but we sure do have a solid foundation now because of Alpha K9! And the fact that I know I can give them a call with any difficulties that may arise in the future and they will support us through it, that sure makes me feel confident in the future.
Going with Alpha K9 was one of the best decisions I've made, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you! If you have a difficult dog you love beyond words, you won't regret teaming up with Alpha K9, I promise!!!!

We specialize in aggression and hyperactivity elimination, potty problems, and possession issues. We stand behind our process and product 100%. Our after care is second to none. After your pup graduates our program, you will never have to pay for obedience training again.

We can but it is not recommended. Dog training is a complex venture. In-person training is always the most effective.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are fully vaccinated and offer to pick up and drop off dogs to assist with client schedules and health needs.
Puppy Programs - $50
A destructive, hyper puppy can mean the difference between chaos in the home and harmony. Our program focuses on creating healthy boundaries, spacial and situational awareness, coping skills, and the ability to learn basic obedience skills to eliminate jumping, biting, and mouthing. Additionally, we set the pups up for success with potty training, kennel training, as well as proper socialization with both people and dogs.
Group Classes - $50
Our group classes are a great way to learn basic techniques to set your home, family, and pup up for success. We focus on leash manners, socialization skills, spacial awareness, potty training, positive kennel association, proper feeding processes, healthy boundaries, and much more.
In-Home Training - $300
If your pup has a basis of understanding and just needs to hone or refresh their skills, our In-Home one-on-one sessions may be the best fit for your needs. We can come to your home or meet in a social setting such as a park, Home Depot or Lowes to work with you and your pup. You tell us the skills you want to work on and we focus on those specific skills.
Board-In 14 Day Intensive Training - $2800 (ONLY $2300 UNTIL DEC 31, 2023)
We are proud to employ a diverse group of Master Certified trainers with vastly different training specialties. 1. Aggression and Hyperactivity Elimination 2. Healthy Puppy Behaviors 3. Building confidence in fearful or submissive pups 4. Emotional Support and Psychiatric Support Dogs 5. American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluators With our diverse group we are able to prepare your pup with real world training. Every graduate of our program learns 15 commands, socialization skills, coping skills, spacial awareness, learns to go to the bathroom on command, eat on command, etc. We set ourselves apart by offering extended after care sessions with the entire family to ensure your pup and your family are set up for long term success. We believe in and stand behind our program so much so that we offer a lifetime-of-the-dog warranty. You will never have to pay for basic obedience training again.
1-on-1 Training - $150
Come work with any of our Certified Master Trainers in our beautiful facility. We design and tailor the sessions to your needs and the needs of your pup.
