We are beyond impressed with what a great job Jeff did with our dog! We realized very quickly that we were in over our head when it came to training our adorable, but stubborn, new puppy Maggie. We are a busy family with a toddler and I wanted to make sure Maggie got the training and attention she needed to succeed. Finding Jeff was like an answered prayer! He listened to all of our concerns and went above and beyond to make sure Maggie became an excellent family dog. We are now able to take our pup wherever we go and strangers always comment on how well behaved she is! You can tell Jeff truly loves dogs and has endless patience when it comes to training rambunctious, high energy puppies! I can’t say enough how beyond impressed we were! I would absolutely recommend his training program and will be using him again with any future dogs we get. More...

I have worked with Alpha Dog twice in the last 11 years and both times the results have been great. In early 2003, Jeff helped us train Noodle, our Anatolian Shepherd puppy. Anatolians are livestock guardian dogs, so they are bred to think independently and do what they think is best. This makes them quite challenging to train. Luckily, Jeff helped us train Noodle, with amazing results. Other Anatolian owners were always surprised that we could take her hiking and other places off leash, and she always came when called. Her early training stayed with her throughout her entire life, and she was a really great dog. Unfortunately, she passed away in late 2013, and so then we got Otto, also an Anatolian Shepherd. This time Jeff sent Tyler to work with us. The results were also great, though Otto has definitely been more challenging than Noodle was. Tyler and Jeff helped us work through quite a few of Otto's issues, both with in-person training and with phone and email follow up advice that was very helpful. Otto is still a work in progress, but he is getting better every day and we know we have Alpha Dog to help us when we need them. [Disclaimer: my husband and I have no relationship with Jeff or anyone else from Alpha Dog other than the 2 times they have helped us train dogs.] More...

The Pooch Palace is so much fun, my dog doesn't want to leave when I go to pick her up. I love the cageless idea, it's really nice to see all the dogs running around and having fun with each other. Great job with the place, Jeff! Love the tennis ball launcher! More...

I have seen the Pooch Palace come a long way since the grand opening last year. It is always getting better and there is so much to keep the dogs busy. I have brought my dog there during all times of the day and during every season & there is always a comfortable place for the dogs to stay.
The owner, Jeff Sutton, and his staff are always courteous and knowledgeable.
I am so glad I switched from one of the other places in town. This is by far the best and biggest place. The tennis ball & bubble machines make me laugh when I see all the dogs chasing bubbles and dozens of tennis balls!!!
I would definitely recommend switching to the Pooch Palace.
