TLDR - Andy and team saved my bacon for a last minute big cleanup and did a great job.... I needed to get my yard ready to list my house before I left for vacation.  We were under contract for a new house so it had to happen by a certain time.  I was doing the work myself, which meant two 12 hour days... I had just spent. The first day I spent unloading a full pickup truck of fresh bark.  Then a major windstorm hit that night.. At 2 in the morning I could hear branches hit the roof. I knew I couldnt do it myself.  I went on yelp to request a quote at 2AM thinking there was no way someone would answer. Andy replied back that night! The next morning, my yard looked like a disaster area. There was a least 10ft moving truck full of debris.  I sent him some photos of my yard and got a quote, and most importantly he confirmed he could get a crew out the next day.  Andy's quote seemed almost too good, I had him come out to survey the place, but he insisted it was fine. I wasn't looking for the best deal, I was looking for certainty to meet a deadline and quality.  But I liked the vibe from Andy and he beat all other quotes, so I got budget, quality, and schedule all in one team. His crew came out the next day (if I had one little bit of constructive feedback, they were about an hour late which made me nervous considering my tight time line.). They tackled most of the job that day.   Including leveling a grade of a side garden that couldn't have been easy. We were looking for someone for spring clean up around our front and back yard. They were both in bad shape after the winter and we had a lot of moss growing around everywhere. Andy came out to check our yard and give us an estimate. He was one of the lower price bids we got for our clean up, but more than that, Andy was really nice and walked us through everything and gave us tips on how we could maintain it later as well. We loved that and decided to go with him and we are glad we did! Andy fit us into his schedule in the next couple of weeks. The guys he sent out were amazing at their job. Definitely ask for Danny if possible! He was efficient and thorough! They worked with fitting our demands in and put in more time without complaints. The All Star company was just awesome! They came out the same day I requested an estimate and quoted me a very reasonable price. I was given a quote by one company that never even actually came out to the site of $700 within seconds of my estimate request. When all star offered to come out on the same day and actually did come out on the same day their bid was $300 and they would reuse most of the wood that had comprised my fence before. They added an additional post and set all three posts in concrete whereas before I had two posts that were just kind of stuck in the ground. They were very fast, and they were out here in the rain! Within four days of the initial request I had a new fence to keep my dog in the backyard! These guys were just great! I will definitely be using them again for other projects. Thank you Andy for coming out to fix my fence! I had plans to replace the whole fence but that fell thru (LOL) anyways! Our fence is old and unfortunately an area  couldn't handle the wind storms that we had this year. From the first contact, to him coming out to look at the job and then coming back to start on it was within 2-3 days. I needed the repair asap as our neighbor kept asking about it. So glad I contacted him and it was a very reasonable price for a 16ft long fence repair. Oh! He also fixed one of the fence post that was ready to collapse. I was very annoyed to see another possible collapse part of our fence, but he said it didn't need replacing since we have plans to replace the whole fence but just recommended he reinforced the post with concrete. it's now very sturdy!! I availed of Andys services eventually.His crew came and made a backyard and front yard out of the forest I had. They were fast and neat like I wanted. Andy kept my budget and the estimation under check and checked with me when there were changes. He also helped me test my sprinklers which was not in the listed services at all. Overall, he went above and beyond to help me make my yard clean and neat. I will definitely be calling Andy for any landscaping needs in future.  The amazing part was when he told me they preserved tiny bird nest amidst my high grown grass. He let them live and protected them until the work was done. I now have a cardboard around the birds nest so we know where they are and their mom can come and feed them. Andy came out promptly to my house and was able to work with me on a couple different ideas about what to do with my yard, giving me ideas of what different options would cost.  No high pressure sales tactics!  We agreed on an approach and I shortly received the quote.  He was able to start the project within two weeks which I was very happy about.  He and his crew came out and did a great job in my yard flattening and reseeding (every day I look for new growth, I'm a little obsessed with it...)  They also build a couple low walls, cleared out a bunch of debris and generally did a real nice spring cleaning of my yard.  Andy was super easy to work with always available via the phone and text.  Highly recommended! Andy, Miguel and crew did a great job removing and installing new sod in my front yard, thatching and seeding my backyard and revising our front bed to include new shrubs and three heavy rocks. Quote was clear, accurate and honored (even though Andy had to eat some the cost for upgraded grass product due to a supplier problem and Miguel had to wait an extra 4 hours for them to get him the sod). The cherry on top of the service was the extra effort they went to patch a gnarly 1x3 foot scrape/divot in my sidewalk that appeared sometime during the days they worked on my house.  They knew the problem was NOT THEIR FAULT and THEY FIXED IT ANYWAYS (at no charge) to take care of me.  Apparently the City of Kent went around roughing up the sidewalks in the neighborhood without telling anyone.  There was a slight delay in them getting to my work due to a previous job. Requested some lawn work to be done back in November. Due to a family emergency I was in able to financially have the work done. Andy was very accommodating to my situation and was willing to re-schedule later in February. Thanks Andy you and you team did everything I asked down to where to specifically put extra clippings. I had a ton leaves to be raked and a lot of lawn to be mowed. Also had the flower beds cleaned out along with edging around the perimeter of the property. Andy and his crew rescued my yard! We moved into our new home this spring and it had been unoccupied for almost a year so the property had become overgrown, unmanageable and totally overwhelming (waist high weeds, out of control roses, crazy vines, fallen section of fence, etc). My partner and I would chip away but our efforts never seemed to make a dent in all the growth. We had a couple estimates to get a big reboot and opted to go with All-Star Clean Up. I'm so glad we did. After a one day rain delay in starting, his crew came out and worked non-stop to get the place back in shape. Everything was completed that we had requested. His crew were nice guys that walked me through their progress and checked to make sure I was happy with their approach. Their clean-up work even uncovered a whole section of usable yard that we didn't realize was there when we purchased the property. (score!) I was living in an overgrown backyard where weeds and blackberries were over 5' tall. I have been in battle with blackberries ever since I lived here. I've decided to look for a professional to handle the job because simply, I can't do it anymore.  I've requested quotes from 5 different contractors. Andy was most responsive and his prices are fair! I still have not received a response from other contractors, which is a pet peeve of mine.Overall, I am very pleased with the work. This contractor is not a bad one. Andy came to our house and gave a quote for an itemized list, which was only half of another contractor asked for. He was nice and courteous. They did it in an afternoon and the result was quite satisfying.They didn't apply mulch to the desired area they agreed to do in the initial quote. I don't think they missed it intentionally. Andy agreed that they would come back in the following week and do that. They didn't. Finally they refunded us more than it would have costed. This is much appreciated. But it was postponed by two weeks and took me a trip to Home Depot and an afternoon to do so. If I could choose I still hope they could do this.Finally, they left some garbages unpacked in my waste bin. I had to either remove them from the bin and bag them or face penalty from waste disposal company. Also, they confirmed that they would take cut crass and plants away but still left a lot in my compost bin. It had never been fuller. It was extremely heavy and took me a lot of effort to pull it to roadside.Overall, this contractor is not a bad one, but I probably will not choose them next time. More...

I contacted All-Star to get a quote and they were very responsive. Andy came out to do the estimate and worked with me to create a vision for my backyard transformation. He was easy to communicate with and always answered/returned my calls in a timely manner. I've contacted Andy for a spring clean-up, including a front yard space that is personally owned by my family and a backyard that is shared with my neighbor. Andy was able to separate the quote and communicated seamlessly with me in order to ensure the price was reasonable and I got an itemized quote. Andy does not hesitate to apologize or take the initiative when appropriate. I can tell his goal is to make sure customer needs are taken care of. He even patiently waited for my neighbor's feedback b4 his scheduled work, which overall took over a week for me to get back to him.  If he's busy, be patient. Having engaged in significant yard-neglect over the past three years, we were in desperate need of assistance to reclaim our absolute mess of a yard. We were at the point where most of our plants, trees, and hedges were either dead or overgrown (one hedge was literally growing around and consuming a small pine tree). It was also the case that part of our property line fence had been blown down in a windstorm last winter and was just laying against the remaining fence accumulating various plants and weeds around it. In addition, weeds were sprouting up all over the place, some more than 6-7 feet high and blocking several walkways around the house. This is in addition to the moss everywhere, of course. It is one of those things where it gets so progressively bad that you start to forget what your yard used to look like and you accept the current yard as the new norm. When we finally decided that we needed help, it was through incredible luck that I stumbled upon All-Star Clean Up. While working full time and going to school at night, I could not take time off from work to be home during the workday for countless and time consuming estimates. In my efforts to try to find a quick solution I sent emails out to a few yard clean-up services. A response to my email to All-Star was the first and only received. In addition, Andy from All-Star responded within only just a couple hours of my sending my email. Furthermore, Andy was able to immediately arrange to meet me at my property between 6 - 7 p.m. that same day. He came that evening and walked the property with me while I explained what we needed. He then took a few minutes and was able to provide us with a very reasonable estimate. Feeling very good about Andy and ready to get things started we were lucky to be able to schedule a date less than two weeks out. Andy and his crew arrived early on the scheduled date (a Sunday if you can believe it), bringing with them the 4-5 yards of bark that we had asked them to spread after they were done with the clean up. They were awesome and did everything that we asked and more. They came and first removed the weeds and overgrown/dead plants. Then they trimmed back the plants we were keeping. Then they power-washed and last laid bark. When they were done they cleaned up everything and hauled away all of the yard waste (and our downed broken fence). Their attention to detail was very good and it is clear that Andy has a very hard working crew who are eager to please. We couldn't have chosen better and were really very lucky to have Andy help us with our project. I will definitely call All-Star in the future to handle my yard care and clean up needs. More...
