Extremely expensive - double what I've paid at other salons. My 20 lb dog was considered medium sized. Still found mats in the ears when we got home. I should have asked the price before starting but it didn't occur to me that it would be so far out of line with what I'd paid before. I wanted to support a local business, but won't be back. I brought Myrtle, our Shih Tzu/Bischon into Adore Salon today. She was a little grumpy because I woke her for the adventure. Ronni and Amanda were friendly, efficient and gave her a great spa experience. The building is newly renovated and seems perfectly designed for this business . I can’t recommend this head groomer/owner (Izza) and her new Adore salon highly enough! Izza is talented, skilled, warm, welcoming, really listens to what you want, loves the dogs . . . She’s simply the best groomer you’ll ever find. Your dog will ADORE her and vice versa. She has been grooming my dogs for years. I've been taking my dog to the lead groomer at Adore since he was a wee puppy. Havanese are not always easy to groom (double coat, long hair), but Izza is amazingly talented. Not only does Nigel look great after his "spa days" with Izza, but he's so playful and happy and wiggly when I come to pick him up - I know he has had a great time in her care. She offers great advice and tips and really listens to customers to understand what they want and need from her services. Her new salon is lovely and staff communication with customers is excellent. We had our first groom at Adore and are OBSESSED. Adore is so cute, clean, and welcoming. Amanda was so friendly and organized. Izza truly listened to what we were looking for and our (traumatic) past experiences and delivered the best groom we have ever had! They were very transparent at what issues they found and recommendations how we all could work together to fix them for our pooch.
