We just moved to Boise, so I didn’t have a regular vet yet. My dog fell ill and they were able to see him right away. When I decided to have him put to sleep, they were so kind and compassionate. I was a mess and they were there for me and my dog. I was able to spend time with him and I didn’t feel rushed out of the office. We had a big scare from our current (at that time) vet. We decided to get a 2nd opinion from Ada Animal Hospital, because on 2 different occasions they were recommended to us. Not only did they get us in that day, but they were super sweet and listened to what was going on. Rather than jump to drastic measures, they had more humane ideas that were inline with what we were feeling. Many thanks and kudos to this great DR and team. My only regret is that we didn't try him sooner. He will now, going forward, be our main vet. :) More...

I've been bringing my dogs to this clinic for a long time. I called today because my dog suddenly developed a nasty gagging/couching issue. They could hear how bad the gagging was over the phone and got me right in. I just love the staff and the doctor. I get very grossed out by some of the doggy issues and we have a good time laughing about it while the dogs get their care. I really appreciate their customer service and follow through with phone calls after each visit. Most people doctors don't even do that. We appreciate this clinic, and even though we have many vets closer to our home, these guys are worth the drive! More...

Ada Animal has been, and is the practice who has cared for my dogs over 20 years. The Vets and staff are professional, and compassionate as well. My current dog Vinnie (7 years this November) receives great care there, and has since we rescued him from the West Valley Animal Shelter. Vinnie's neurological condition requires medication for his seizures. Ada Animal has provided great care as well as reasonable priced medication. Amazing!!!! 2 days ago my coonhound almost 6 months) was very sick and wouldn't eat or drink and could barley walk. I took her All Valley Animal Care at 11:30 last night and they told me to wait in the truck with her and they would test her for Parvo. I waited till close to 2 am and then I just told them I'd come back early in the morning. I got there around 5:30 and they told me they would be out in 5. Waited till 7:20 and someone finally came out and said "sorry but we actually don't have any more parvo tests we didn't realize we were out until now" she then told me she had called the humane society and they have tests there. So I drove down there and they told me they didn't have any either. I'm getting annoyed at this point, Indy looks miserable and I was really worried. I get on my phone and google Veterinarians close to me and found Ada animal hospital. They were so nice over the phone and when I got there the someone immediately ran out to the truck gave her the test and came back in 10 minutes with the results. She tested negative so the doctor then took her back to the exam room and checked her out. Everyone in the office was so kind and helpful I seriously can't thank them enough. Today Dr. Loertscher called to check in on her and make sure she is doing better. I'm so grateful for everyone there who made me feel like I wasn't just another annoying dog lady. They really care about the animals well being and keeping the owners happy as well. 10/10 More...

I typically don't review something unless it was a horrible experience that I want to help others avoid, but this place is one I absolutely have to send a shout-out to. Our cat had recently been in a cat fight, and we were afraid he had broken his tail. It was extremely swollen, he would cry in pain when we touched it, he was lethargic...etc. I called Ada Animal Hospital about 45 minutes before closing the other night, and tried to make an appointment for him to get checked out the next morning. They weren't having any of that. The friendly receptionist told me to go ahead and bring him in, and she'd make sure he got taken care of that night.Turns out it was an infected tail from a kitty bite during his fight, and although he was not a happy camper at the time naturally, he's doing much better only 2 days later and is getting back to his happy, active self. I can't thank you enough for fitting us in even though you all likely had to stay later because of us. This will definitely be the first place we turn to next time we need a vet! My family and I have been very happy with this vet. It feels like they truly care about our animals and I feel the pricing is fair. We have two dogs and two cats who have been seen by Zoe and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good family vet! We also just used the boarding part of the business and they did amazing.
