Our technician, Mark, came out initially to diagnose the problem. Our house is just 7 years old, but the steam shower stopped working within 6 months. We finally decided that it was time to try to fix it. We were actually worried that it stopped working due to a more serious plumbing problem and we did NOT want to open walls. We have had a few plumbers out to look at it and that always proved hopeless. Anyway, Mark came and he was extremely professional, and he was also confident that it could be fixed without tearing our house apart. It turned out that the unit we had was discontinued and Mark let us know that Kohler would actually sell us a brand new unit for 70% off (even though our unit was no longer under warranty).Soon after the new unit arrived (Kohler shipped immediately), Mark came back to install it. Service:Accurate Industries has been our steam and sauna service provider for 10+ years. We have eight upscale athletic clubs; six of them have steam & sauna rooms. A few of these are pretty old, but Accurate maintains them at peak condition. They are always quick to respond, and the technicians are highly skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and have our best interests in mind.Build-out:We recently opened a new club, and Accurate was our choice for the construction of steam and sauna rooms. Everything about the project from design, planning, and construction went very smooth. It was on time and on budget. The workmanship is top-notch. These turned out so awesome, that we had them re-build the sauna rooms at our oldest club. The guys doing the construction, Marc and Andy, are super nice, highly skilled, and take pride in their craft. Accurate industries gets my vote of confidence. During a storm in late June, the on/off switch on my steam generator was damaged. I searched for the part on several occasions without success. On July 14, with much luck Mr. Joe O’Boyle to the rescue. He immediately recognized the part and said it would be received by July 21. The package came on July 23, unfortunately the wrong part was sent. I called Mr. O’Boyle and he assured me that he would make right the error. Within two days the on/off switch was delivered to my house. Mr. O’Boyle is the kind of person that encourages me to do business with the company that is fortunate to have him as an employee. His dedication, patience, professionalism and concern for me, the customer, ended my frustration over the last several weeks. Accurate Industries has the most helpful and friendly Customer Service department I have ever encountered. Nikki Kraemer didn't just "check the catalog" and send whatever it said when I was looking for a replacement circuit board for an older model AMEREC steam shower generator. She made a couple of calls to AMEREC and to me confirming that the correct board was being sent. Because of my lack of mechanical prowess, I had trouble installing the board. Nikki put me in touch with a technician at AMEREC (Mike Colella) who very patiently walked me through the process. Nikki didn't just pass me off to Mike. Longview Parks and Recreation just recently purchased a new Mr. Steam Generator for the steam room at Paula Martin Jones Recreation Center. I had some questions with regard to the manual and the unit itself. I contacted Michelle Schofield at Accurate Industries to ask her some questions. She did some research and called me the very next day and provided me with information that was extremely valuable. We replaced our 40 year old commercial saunas this past summer. The job was completed within budget and ahead of schedule as the team coordinated extra manpower and longer hours to prevent a weekend without saunas! Not many companies will do something like that! I had a broken valve in my shower steamer and was eventually directed to Accurate Industries as a distributor in the Chicago area. When I called Kyle Murphy answered the phone and he could not have been more helpful. He is their Service Manager and even offered to call the manufacturer to verify model number compatability. They had my valve in stock and I wanted to pick it up on Saturday since I live in the city. Kyle said they are closed on Saturdays, but he was coming in around 6am that Saturday to work and I could stop by as early as I liked. When I arrived about 8:30am he met me outside right away and had my new valve & invoice ready. I thought Kyle's service was fantastic and he made a bothersome repair as pleasant as it could be. I am the fitness manager at a health & fitness center and also have some responsibilities for maintenance. I have contacted Accurate Industries several times recently to do some repair work on a few of the steam and sauna rooms we have at our facility. Kyle in the service department is always friendly and tries his best to get a technician to us as soon as possible. The last two times, Steve, has come in to take a look at our problems. He is friendly and attentive and always tries to figure out exactly what our issues are and the best solution that fits us. We had accurate industries rebuild our entire dry sauna about a month and a half ago and I wanted to say I was more than pleased with the results. Not only were the guys very professional with our members who came in to ask questions during the construction process, but they were also great at communicating with myself during the entire process. Our dry sauna has never looked this good. I was very impressed with the quality of work upon completion of the project, the guys made sure I was happy with everything along the way. I could not have asked for a better experience with this project. I had a great experience with Accurate Industries. Steve and Andy arrived promptly at the scheduled time and both were  very knowledgeable and friendly. The control panel in our steam shower was no longer working. I called AI with the control panel part #   several days in advance of the appointment so they brought the replacement part on the service call.The new control panel works great.  Steve and Andy also inspected the steam unit and pointed out the plumber who installed the unit had never installed the drainage pipe necessary to flush the unit.  I was unaware that flushing the unit was part of routine maintenance. Flushing the unit would have been impossible without any piping to the drain.     Steve added a copper elbow and piping that will allow us to perform routineflushing in the future.  I also tried their Steam Room cleaner and it works well.I recognize their service call may cost a bit more than other alternatives, however  it was definitely worth a paying a little more for timely service (they arrived exactly on time) and completed the job in about an hour.  Andy and Stever were  honest,  knowledgeable, provided great service as well as explaining the routine maintenance required for the unit.   I will definitely use AI again. I bought a timer plate for my existing Steam Bath from their mail order website, to replace an existing timer plate that got lost in renovation. Rather than just fill the order blindly, they called me to make sure that this was actually the part that I needed. I've been using Accurate Industries for about 13 years, they are pricey but you get what you pay for. Service has been top notch, If called for emergecy repair I have always felt like a priority. If it was a scheduled maintenance call they have always been been on site early and completed scheduled maintenance in a timely manner as to not disrupt our clients. Straight forward service provider for Rome` Spa. Good experience from problem detection through final repair. Not the cheapest in terms of what I expected cost wise but compared to the previous service company we used, Accurate got me up and running. Would use again!
