My wife and I had a small house renovation done thorough Hamid from Your Builder.
James, the foreman and his team did an exceptional job of the renovation.
they were professional, on time and worked to a very high standard. They also gave suggestions to improve the finished result, and to save costs.
The customer portal is very impressive, and is accurate as far as completed work, and tracking the budget goes on a real time basis. Their communication is very professional and we were kept informed of all work that was done. All variations that were requested, were priced up and approved before any additional work was done.
The finished product was everything we had dreamed of and was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.

My wife and I used Hamid and his team to renovate our home recently. From the very start of the process, they were responsive, accommodating with the uncertainty that comes with changing plans and offered helpful input.
The online portal made keeping track of the project simple and ensured clear communication of any changes needed during the project (and there was a lot). From the moment the team was onsite, their work was efficient, professional, and of good quality. Even when we hit a major snag which meant the timelines were put under severe pressure Hamid and the team worked around and bought forward other work items to avoid delay or idle periods.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
The biggest show stopper for loft conversions is the set height to boundary restrictions also the cost of building a loft conversion, also known as a pop-top. Engage an experienced building company, draftsman or architect to inquiry about your local building restrictions OR pop into your local council and ask a council town planner. They will pull out your property file and should be able to advise the basic restrictions.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
1. Create a design concept and plans that will work for you. 2. Establish the existing structure type to be included in the existing and new plans of the house. 3. Create an estimate of the build. 4. Proceed to the detailed drawing stage required for the council. 5. Obtain council consent. 6. Build your loft conversion. 7. Obtain a Code of compliance for your loft conversion. 8 Enjoy, you are all done!
What’s your interior design process?
Design, communicate, design, communicate, and design and communicate some more until you know you have the best design for a person. Once you have it you'll know. Be prepared to go through the process and realize that the time you put into it upfront will save you time and money later on when your builders are on site.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We work with multiple interior designers and interior architects. Finding the right interior designer for our clients is what we do well and what we love to do. We do not believe in one size fits all policy. Different interior designers lean towards different styles, this doesn't mean you should! Finding your style is important.
How long have you been in business?
We have owned and operated building companies both in the Netherlands and now in New Zealand for over 25 years. Building up a building company is no easy task, however, when you have the right people and expert knowledge within your company it can become a very rewarding achievement.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I can honestly say we have had many a difficult period over the 25 years we have been operating our building company. However, I would never change being a business owner as the end result of delivering a home to a family remains so rewarding, especially when you own a company full of such special passionate people. It still makes me extremely proud. Working for someone else? I couldn't think of anything worse.
