Kate Apanui is a Certified Coach, Master Certified Equus Coach and Facilitator, and Registered Nurse. Kate began her professional life as a surgical and orthopaedic Nurse, but due to her husbands career, she spent a lot of time living overseas, mainly in France. During this time away she retrained and became certified as Coach with Dr Martha Beck. Following that she travelled to the United States and spent time studying and training with world renowned Horse Whisperer; Koelle Simpson. Kate’s currently continuing her eduction with Steven Porges PhD at the Polyvagal institute, and studying under Dr Gabor Mate’s trauma and addiction programme. Kate has spent the past 13 years working as a health + wellness coach, in-between raising 3 kids, and moving around the world. She is a sought after speaker, writer, and podcaster. Kate’s coaching work includes groups, and one-to-one clients via zoom and in person workshops. She also offers Equine Assisted Learning and Personal Development via Equus Coaching for individuals, groups, and teams .

Kate helps her clients re-discover a life that focuses on listening to the body’s instincts and aligning to the hearts intuition, understanding personal habits and behaviour, an harnessing the power of their mindset. Kate invites her clients to live from a sense of freedom, aliveness and integrity.
