We had booked a few tables for a birthday celebration and the staff were incredibly accommodating to our group even though they were short staffed and were having troubles with power in the kitchen. We were happy with the option of cabinet food and wedges/fries which were all delicious! We were even offered the left over cabinet food so as to reduce waste. When we were leaving there was a car accident on the road outside and the staff all came out and helped clean up. Wonderful location and lovely friendly staff More...

I'd just like to acknowledge and say thank you to the staff at the cafe for this afternoon. It was near closing and my partner and I travelled from Taupo to Whanganui and were hungry. The lovely lady at the counter offered to heat us some food. Whilst I was waiting we were given free left over Lamingtons and Scones. Then the young man who worked there helped me carry it all to my vehicle. I'm so grateful for your kindness. 😊 And the food was amazing! So thank you. More...

Fantastic setting, the extended garden seating is great. Also great customer service, cheerful and friendly. I brought a frail, elderly relative here to celebrate an 80th birthday and staff were so kind; they made the day entirely memorable and I was so grateful. Oh, food is very good too! Excellent wide selection from the cabinet as well as menu options. Well worth the outing from town. Wonderful to see the place transformed under the direction of the current owners. More...
