The upfront initiation to install process is not smooth. 8 reasons Atom8 experience was not at par: 1) Appointment was set, however no indication was given that it required the WHOLE day to setup. The call records shows about 4 hrs estimate given. 2) As I have a tenant living in the apartment, no escalation was made when coordination issues existed, Instead I got a call only after a month after. 3) The installer did not come with all parts. Took a couple of setup/cancels to finish the job. 4) The remote call button popped out within just a week of using it. When I discussed with them, rhe customer care put the blame squarely on the customer even before testing it for quality defect. The only saving grace was that they promised to replace it. Let's hope they do and it works. 5) Customer care was lacking basic 101 capabilities especially with me calling back. Conversation was started with a complaint on the tenant, then a complaint on me for not picking up the first call and finally a few more complaints all missing the core issue of remote quality which was the main reason for the call. Very defensive CC... Definitely didn't feel like a "valued" customer. 6) Atom8 was being installed in a new apartment complex. While this is a great deal for them (many Appts at one shot), they have not worked with builder to ensure the right number of sockets were pre installed as part of electrical for specific house config. Such due diligence is expected as an owner when Atom8 is sold as part of the apartment package. 7) there are hidden costs (based on type of ringer, device,etc). No intimation of this before by either builder or Atom8. Beware! 8) it took almost 4 months after handover by client before installation started for our apartment. Till then no front door bell! When I called it in, the company CSR said "organization issues"... Not sure what that means! Seems like work is finally done. I have still to validate it works and is useful... But the entire installation process questions the value to customer and the customer centricity of this company.
