Shane was a dream wedding photographer he brought such a fun energy and vibe to our wedding day at Dromoland Castle. We really appreciated Shane’s natural, relaxed and candid documentary approach and how his photography style did not dictate the pace of the day but instead he works around the natural flow of the day. It was our absolute pleasure to have Shane photograph our wedding. We researched several photographers but were instantly taken by his documentary style and his photos on the day did not disappoint. When we broached Shane about having a double wedding with my sister he could have run for the hills but instead we were blown away by his enthusiasm and 'can-do' attitude. Because of the small crowd due to government restrictions, Shane's presence ended up being a big part of the day - his kindness and friendliness only added to our experience. For anyone thinking of booking Shane, all I can say is, just do it, you won’t regret it. My partner and I do not like photos and find them awkward and are so uncomfortable the minute a camera is in put in front of us but Shane makes it all so easy and manages to remain in the background. He also pops up when you need help with anything and that includes assistance with your dress! He’s a dab hand at managing long trains and even longer veils 😊 To Shane we would like to say, we really really appreciate everything that you did on our day. I don’t feel like you were our photographer, I feel like you were a friend who happened to want to take lots and lots of photos of us. Just on our way home from the Enchanted Forest shoot with our 18month old.
I cannot praise the girls enough in every single aspect of what they do. Their patience and genuine care for getting a good photo makes them ten times better than any other company who would rush you out the door! Their ability to work around you and your little ones and the compassion they have in doing so, makes them the most lovely people to interact with.

We viewed our fairy portraits yesterday and oh my god they are unbelievable. My girls were so amazed by the enchanted forest that they are still asking can they go back and visit. They did not even realize there was pictures being taken as they were just so into the whole experience. I was not expecting there to be so many beautiful pictures. We had our second set of first communion photographs taken last year by Designworks. I can say that both my daughter's and my son's communion day were captured beautifully. Denise and Bronagh are fantastic to work with - very accommodating and personable. Last year, we had let them know that we wanted to get family photos taken, but as one of my daughters has special needs we would need to be in and out as quickly as possible. Not only was this easily done, they managed to take the most fabulous photos for us. I must mention that Denise and Bronagh made us feel completely welcome and at ease - not one eybrow raised even though we arrived with an assistance dog (who only added to the photos!) and the whole family had to sing songs to get a smile out of my youngest daughter. We got to see our photos on Friday from The Enchanted Forest photoshoot.
We were only 2 weeks waiting which was great as the suspense was killing us. lol
I was completely blown away by them! I was actually lost for words to be honest. Every time I look at them I just fall more in love with the images. She captured all 3 of them so effortlessly and the photos look so natural. On the day of our photoshoot the girls loved dressing up and we really had a lot of fun. I would not hesitate to recommend Designworks.
